We bought a brand new 2025 Equinox EV in March (2025). In October, we started having a slew of problems (tire pressure system, OnStar module not working, etc.). We have now had our car in their shop off and on for over a month since October 30th (including one time where we left it there for over 2 weeks and the problem still wasn't fixed). We, once again, do not have access to our vehicle. We were promised that the repairs would finally be done Friday 1/16/26. We had to call repeatedly to find out that the car would not be done until 1/17/26. Shock - surprise - it was not done on 1/17/26. We called multiple times on 1/18/26 - and no one would even answer the phone. It is now 1/19/26 and we still have no vehicle. The answer is always that they had to "order a part." We have gotten no updates unless we persistently call them. We get no empathy and told that the GM will call us (spoiler: he won't). The head of service is downright nasty if you have an issue (he tried to convince us there was no issue with the tire pressure sensors or OnStar module - yet the screen doesn't work at all)...and today was more interested in complaining about his recent lab work (and high cholesterol) than trying to right the issue of them essentially holding our car hostage. It should not take months to fix these issues. We shouldn't have to call incessantly just to get some sort of update on our vehicle. I would even take a simple, "I'm sorry it's taking so long." But NOPE. I spoke to a guy in sales two days, out of desperation because we couldn't get ahold of anyone in the service department, and was promised we'd get a call from the GM to fix this. I won't hold my breath. More

I would give a zero to this place. I’ve purchased from different dealerships in the past and by far they are the worst. Poor customer service in service department. Sold me a warranty I’ve purchased from different dealerships in the past and by far they are the worst. Poor customer service in service department. Sold me a warranty but warranty doesn’t cover anything. When car is in shop they are supposed to give you a loaner car. Never have one to give. Damaged my car and did not take responsibility. Instead they were rude and pushed me out the shop. Call police will take legal action. Beware More

Tedd Britt Chevrolet (Sterling, VA) and General Motors has given me the run around. They have shown gross negligence by refusing to replace my newly purchased 2020 Silverado 1500. I have been tossed around from manager to manager, from advisor to advisor. Nobody wants to be the one caught with the customer (me) in a potential lawsuit: I have put less than 15,000 miles on the vehicle, hardly owned six months. First owner. The vehicle has been in FIVE TIMES for various electrical issues including brake system failures (x3), and most recently the vehicle shut off while I was traveling +60mph. I fear for my safety. See attached invoice photos. Their staff sees you as a number - a price tag. Their “Customer Experience Manager” did not even look at me, he talked over me, and downright refused to help me - would not even give me the customer service phone number. He said it was not his problem. Incredible. Don’t waste your time, or your safety. Buy a Ford. More

Ted Britt for Life a Joke Ted Britt for Life is a joke! It does not work unless you are in your local area. If you are out of your area your out of luck unless you want to tow the vehicle from where ever you are at your cost. Chevy knew full well that these parts on vehicles were going bad and there is no recall or even a call to warn customers. We were out of town visiting our son and the PVC valve or in that area cracked. Chevy has known about this issue for a while. We were three and a half hours from home and four and a half from the dealership and was told I have to tow it there and pay for it or pay for the fix by myself...what is the use of Ted Britt for Life then. We ended up being stranded for three days till Pep Boys could find the part. There was only 1 in a 200 mile distance. I have purchased every vehicle from then since we moved here, no more. We are dumping both Chevy's from Ted Britt and going to another dealership. I will never purchase another car from them again and I will not recommend them anymore either. When I call to talk with them I get machines or transferred from phone to phone. They know what they are doing is wrong! BTW Other Chevy dealerships have the same type of program and it is covered by ANY Chevy dealership in the country! I have to put a name at the bottom, but I haven't spoken to anyone because no one wants to talk. More

They did not mention in email or through a phone call or text, that the car was sold to avoid me driving 3 hours pointlessly. More

Our salesman told us we could put a down payment down in order to save the car as we needed to wait for our insurance check for totaling out our previous vehicle. We signed the paperwork and went to another building to get our tags and title worked out and pay our down payment. Waited half an hour and only got a hold of someone after a random employee walked by and we inquired as to when we would be helped. Then we're told that they could not hold the car for the down-payment amount we were promised and would have to pay that day and that they could not promise the vehicle would be there. Needless to say we made them shred our paperwork and we walked away. The right hand definitewdoesnt know what the left hand is doing at this place. Plus, their "processing fees" are way higher than the standard for Virginia, even for those like us who are paying cash. RUN AND FIND A DEALERSHIP THAT KNOWS WHAT THEY'RE DOING More

Obviously like any car buyer especially on a vehicle of over 70k you’d like to shop around and which I did and hadn’t even contacted Ted Britt. The sales manager Angel Gammons contacted me multiple times only to tell me “ once I get my feelings hurt they will be waiting” appald but this from a manager representing a large dealership I asked he not contact me again, inquired via phone, and online help for the General manager contact information. Dana apparently did not have or know who her general manager was and referred me back to the sales team and or manager Angel Gammons!? I guess this is why I keep returning to Criswell. Where the sales team actually puts their customers first. Only reason I ventured away was because my preferred dealer didn’t have the color I wanted in the time frame I needed. They are more than willing to get for me especially after purchasing multiple vehicles from them (8) new cars in the past 2 years. I would have thought Ted Britt would have appreciated and liked to connect and build a relationship with a client who is willing to purchase a vehicle from them. My mistake. Good luck with you’re sales team they are some real charmers. I do want to make it a point to say not enough good can be said on behave of Hook Pagnotta.
