It felt like we were dealing with a good friend. We bought a 2007 Avalanche at Fairway Ford on Veteran's DAY. Good used 4×4's are hard to come by this time of year. On Saturday we test drove a 2004 Silverado for $5800 at a small lot. We heard noises, radio wouldn't work, console was broken. The truck didn't feel like it could ever be ours. The salesman asked what will it take to sell you a truck today. He could upsell us a truck and we could pay more than we were wanting to pay. We said we would have to think about it and we left. At Fairway Ford we found a truck that is 3 yrs newer and the inside is immaculate! Runs GREAT! We only paid $2000 more but the truck feels comfortable for us. The whole process was smooth.
