Dear Mr. Thompson, Please be advised that we appreciate you past loyalty with vehicle leases. With regard to your most recent lease, Global did pay for several expenses such as the Disposition Fee and their mileage overage which amounted to well over $1,000. You have leased several vehicles and are aware of the procedures when turning in a lease which is between you and the bank, Global is not involved in evaluating vehicles on a return, that is strictly done by the bank. During the sales process the documents listed below where presented and signed by you so that it was completely clear that Global’s does not pay for wear and tear on his lease. • Motor Vehicle Retail Order for Lease: in bold print, large font and capital letters: Dealer to make up $1,424 in customer over miles and dispo. ANY ADDITIONAL FEES OR CHARGES DEALER IS NOT RESPONSIBLE. • Delivery Receipt: in bold print and capital letters: NOTHING OWED -NOTHING PROMISED • Lease Termination Form: Total Excess Wear and Tear - Dealer Not Responsible. Please be advise that are not stating the true facts and what you note is falsely stated and harmful to Global’s reputation. In addition, you have threatened and harassed the company by stating that you are posting on all social media, even posting a picture of an employee with negative comments online. All facts and amounts were clearly presented to you and Global is clearly not responsible for the items you claim. Hopefully the above will clear up any misunderstandings you might have and by removing your current Social Media postings will require no other further actions by Global Auto Mall. Hi Ed, Thank you for the response. Here’s where I question your associates ethics: 1) Since this was my first lease, when I asked Julio if I should have Chrysler Capital send out a team for an end of lease inspection, he responded that “no I do not need to worry about it” and that the dealership would “take care of me” 2) Had I been advised to schedule the end of lease inspection, I would have had a detailed list of issues to discuss with Julio upon turning in the vehicle. 3) Upon turning in the vehicle, my wife and I asked numerous times if we were going to be charged any extra fees? Period. And numerous times Julio responded - “no, you’re fine...your car is in better shape than most lease returns” 3A) This was not Julio’s first lease return so why didn’t his response include statements like “I can’t tell you that you won’t be charged any extra fees” This is where his ethics come into question. If he had included that statement it could have derailed the current deal and he risked not making the sale. I hope this clears up any confusion on what ethics are being questioned here.
