I was told they didn't know about my appointment when scheduled with 3 other "poly coat" applicants which takes a long time and the detailer normally only does 2 a day. I patiently waited all day, even walked over 7 miles around town since there wasn't a loaner option. Once finished, my truck was returned with my powered steps disconnected and wires hanging down and shoved under my floor mat. Interior was clean and spotless when dropped off, was returned to me with residue, streaks, a stain on the suede center console, and sticky drops stuck on the center console plastic and carbon fiber. All interior issues, not even sure what was done on the outside except for the wipers smearing when trying to wipe rain off on the drive home. The absolute worst part was how Drew made me feel like a complete xxxxxx when I asked him to look at the issues I just described. Before he couldn't tell me what they were applying, or afterwards. Was basically clueless on what was being done to my brand new truck. I had Julius (amazing salesman) hold my truck when it came in brand new and not let them detail it for this exact reason. Now I have to spend hours cleaning up the mess your detailer made of a once very nice interior of a very expensive vehicle. Drew only said I could just come back and have them re do it. Yea, no thanks. Not after being treated like that and have another mess made of my truck. I was so pleased with my purchasing experience at Olathe CDJR but now I don't even want to come back. I took off work for 2 days to get this appointment taken care of and now I'm just xxxxxx off and maybe regret buying at this dealership. It was the service department I was relying on for the long haul. I could've bought this truck anywhere for the same if not better price. But I wanted a competent dealer with a good service dept for all the other visits I'll need to make over the next several years. Very disappointed and may never come back. It was such a simple ask for Drew to look at the mess and he just wanted to defend his detailed before even looking at it and just gave me attitude for asking him to step away from his station to verify what went wrong. No apologies. Just felt like a stand off and I left feeling like I was the one who did him wrong!?! I even said I wasn't upset at him, it was towards the detailer, then he said "it sure feels like you're directing it at me". I never once said anything about him, I was just upset they left my obdll connector and wires disconnected and left in the condition they were, loose wires, steps deployed and non functional (could've been damaged while driving in the down position going over high angle entry and exit points, speed bumps, etc). I'm glad I caught it on my own. He explained they had to scan my truck for any issues but could they not plug it back in at least or let me know it was unplugged?? Just a simple case of poor communication and no courtesy or apology. I never did direct any of my comments towards him, just whoever worked on my truck. So for him to try and deflect any concern I had after I saw the condition my $80k+ brand new truck was returned to me just left me confused and upset. I highly recommend a better brand of protective coating or better application process. I wish I could go back and never have had it applied now even though it comes with a warranty. The way I was treated by your department, I'm not confident at all that that warranty will be honored going forward if I did have any issues. Just an absolute loss of confidence with this service department. And it was so unnecessary. I've waited too long and worked to hard to make this purchase and feel this way. I know the value of hard work, attention to detail, and a simple courtesy. And now I'm being bribed with a free oil change for a 5 star review. More
