The check engine light came on two days after I bought the vehicle. Some type of fuel emissions valve. The shop quoted me $1200 for the repair (which I haven't done yet). I detected a slight bearing noise the vehicle. Some type of fuel emissions valve. The shop quoted me $1200 for the repair (which I haven't done yet). I detected a slight bearing noise in the rear end so I had the front and rear differential oil and transfer case oil changed ($700). They found chunks of metal on the rear end drain plug. I had them tear it apart. They replaced the rear axle bearings which fixed the problem (another $1254). I also had a chip in the windshield repaired ($50). Also, the truck bed cover won't stay closed. I think the latch is worn out. I don't think the sparkplugs have ever been changed so I guess that's going to be next. I'm a little disappointed that I'm already in another $2000 for a vehicle that was supposedly checked out. More
