I am extremely disappointed with the way I have been treated by Kia management regarding a repair issue with my daughter’s vehicle.I purchased this vehicle brand new with the expectation that I was gett treated by Kia management regarding a repair issue with my daughter’s vehicle.I purchased this vehicle brand new with the expectation that I was getting a reliable vehicle and that I had the appropriate warranty and protection plans in place to cover repairs when needed. Unfortunately, when I actually needed Kia to stand behind what I thought was purchased during the sale,the experience has been completely different.What has made this situation even worse is the way I have been treated by the service manager Felix Mendez and general manager Jeff Solo,even the service advisor Justin was not really helpful Instead of feeling like a valued customer who purchased a brand-new Kia and invested in what I thought was warranty/protection coverage, I feel like I have been dismissed and passed around without anyone taking responsibility for helping resolve the issue.I did not expect to have to fight this hard about a repair on a vehicle I purchased brand new. I expect Kia to do way better than what they did.This experience has seriously changed the way I feel about Kia.The way a company handles a problem says a lot more than how they treat you when everything is going well. I am asking Kia corporate to review this situation and the way I have been treated by the dealership’s management.I would strongly encourage anyone considering purchasing a Kia to carefully review exactly what is covered under their warranty and protection plans (Read the fine print) and dont trust what they say and normally I do read but I was just excited and anxious this car was my daughters graduation gift,just pay close attention to how the dealership handles issues after the sale.I hope someone at Kia takes this complaint seriously and makes this situation right. More

I had 5 recalls on my Carnival and a transmission warranty. I dropped it off on a Thursday and was told it would be ready the following Wednesday. The was no contact after the text on Thursday about warranty. I dropped it off on a Thursday and was told it would be ready the following Wednesday. The was no contact after the text on Thursday about the recommendations. I had to call Tuesday to make sure it would still be ready on wed. Justin said yes. Wednesday came and since I didn’t hear anything by 1:30, I text the number that goes to Justin. No answer. At 3 I called and was told he was out, so I left a message for Felix to call me for an update. At 4:40 I called back and was able to get ahold of someone in service, I believe the advisor right next to Justin. He checked and said it was ready, but I couldn’t get it that evening as I just found out and was still working. I came up Thursday morning and spoke to Justin. He found my paperwork, but not my keys. He asked me if someone called and said it was ready. I told him o called and they finally told me it was ready. After 10 minutes or so, he came back and said it was not ready, it needed a trans mount. I could take it like that as it wouldn’t harm my vehicle and bring it back once he got the part the following day. But he said it was going to rattle as the current mount is bad. I did not want that, so he let me stay in the rental and should call me Friday when it is done. I had to call Friday about 2:30 because he still hasn’t called me yet. Now he says it will take until Monday. I did not call Monday, and no one reached out. I text Tuesday morning about 9:45 and he said part came in, tech working on it and should be done shortly. I asked for an update at 2:14 as I have to move stuff around to pick it up and he said he just got with the tech and would be done within the hour, just needs the test drive..I asked him about the 4.4 miles that it was driven around 11 that morning(Kia app notified me). And he said that was probably the tech test driving it earlier. He would have to ask the technician. I am confused because I thought he just got done speaking with the technician…. It was done within the hour. When I got there, my battery was dead and had to be jumped off. I had to go buy a new battery as soon as I left there. Not a good experience as there was no communication. It should have been proactive, not reactive. My remand transmission was only driven 4.4 miles. That wasn’t even enough to get it onto the highway to ensure all of the gears were properly engaging and there were no issues. They ran my car for 2 1/2 hours, did not replace any gas whatsoever and my gear shifter is loose/misaligned. When I go to put it in reverse, it shows neutral. More
