My name is Justin Grant and this is my first job in the automobile indusrty. I was lucky to land a job at Subaru of Wakefield where the customer satisfaction takes a presidente over everything else. I have been with them now for 5 years and I am a proud owner of a Subaru Impreza that I purchased at Subaru of Wakefield before I started working there. I treat my customers the way I wanted to be treated when I was on the buying end of things. When you ask for me you will get nothing but a honest and straight forward offer.

The Best! When i found out my car was dead and i was suddenly in the market for a new one i knew i had to get another Subaru. I went online and found some local When i found out my car was dead and i was suddenly in the market for a new one i knew i had to get another Subaru. I went online and found some local dealers, and ended up heading to Subaru of Wakefield first. I'm so glad that I did. I was walking around the lot trying to figure out which color crosstrek I liked the most, and which one was the cheapest. I also kind of pondered the Impreza, since it was cheaper to start. Justin came over and talked to me about all the differences and suggested that maybe the Impreza was the car for me. Now, he could of suggested the crosstrek which was a couple thousand more, and was pretty cool looking, but instead he actually suggested what he thought would be the perfect car for me. And he was totally right. Test drive, negotiate a lower price, bam! i now own and LOVE my new car. A week or so later i thought something was off with the USB port and he set me up an appointment. I had to leave it there overnight because of a snow storm, so when i got there the next morning it was covered in snow. But not for long! After a minute or two of me cleaning it off, various subaru employees came over to help me out! I can't say enough good things about Justin and the rest of the team at Subaru of Wakefield! More

Justin was an awesome sales rep to work with. He was no-nonsense and very friendly. We've dealt with so many sleazy car sales reps in the past that working with him was a breath of fresh air. Would definitely recommend him to others buying a Subaru. He also knows the features and specs of the cars inside and out. More

After visiting five dealerships and test driving a "cross-over" at each dealership (Hyundai Tucson, Ford Escape, Toyota Rav-4, Honda CR-V and Mazda CX-5), my wife and I decided to go to Subaru of Wake "cross-over" at each dealership (Hyundai Tucson, Ford Escape, Toyota Rav-4, Honda CR-V and Mazda CX-5), my wife and I decided to go to Subaru of Wakefield to look at and test drive a Forester. Both of us were tired of dealing with salesmen and had debated whether it was even worth it to go to this Subaru dealership. Upon arriving, we were pleasantly surprised to be able to walk around the showroom and the lot WITHOUT being hassled, questioned and interrogated about buying a car "today." After we were on the lot for about 10 minutes, we started walking over to a salesman who greeted us and asked if we wanted more time to just look around or had any questions. The salesman (Justin Grant) answered our questions in an extremely knowledgeable and polite manner. I asked Justin if we could take a Forester for a test drive and he quickly got a key and we left the car lot. Of all the salesmen we dealt with that day (at the other dealerships), Justin was the ONLY one who was enjoyable to have along on the test drive. He wasn't telling us about every feature, he wasn't going over prices, or why the Subaru is better than this make, etc. etc. - it was as if I had a friend in the back seat who just happened to know a lot about Subaru Foresters, when asked. Even though we had no intention of purchasing a car that day (it was supposed to simply be an information gathering day), we decided to buy a Forester. We sat down at Justin's desk, had FRIENDLY negotiations, joked around, and both agreed on a price that we felt good about. Justin was great to work with and I'd highly recommend him to anyone looking for a no pressure type of salesman. If we liked another cross-over as much as the Forester and the prices were similar, we would have chosen the Forester simply because of Justin! I can't believe I'm saying this, but the salesman would have been the tie-breaker simply because he made the entire car-buying experience fun, for both me and my wife! We agreed to buy the car Saturday evening, well after the dealership was supposed to be closed. Not once did Justin mention that it was past closing time nor did he seem to care, simply because he was having fun, too! On Monday, Justin followed-up with us and we agreed to come into the dealership on Monday evening to complete the financing paperwork, which was a breeze. Chris was extremely helpful, not pushy on the extra warranty stuff and a pleasure to work with. Justin communicated with me throughout the day on Tuesday to find a convenient time for me to pick up our new Subaru Forester. I got to the dealership later than we had agreed, but Justin greeted me, started explaining all of the features of the car and then had Larry step in to help out so Justin wouldn't be late for his other appointment that actually showed up on time. Justin was very professional throughout everything and Larry stepped right into his shoes. Larry was also very helpful and seemed as if he was a long-time friend too. Justin kept checking in on me while Larry was finishing up the explanations of the blue-tooth and other features. At the conclusion of the evening, Justin and Larry both helped to install the cargo net and weather-tec floor mats. Overall, the purchasing of our very first Subaru was a terrific experience. Hands-down a pleasant time. I don't know what training or other procedures the salesmen are put through at Subaru of Wakefield, but Justin, Larry, Chris and the entire team are an exemplary model of what a car buying experience should emulate. When I buy my next car, rest assured that I will be asking for Justin Grant to be my salesman. In closing, in today's world, many people seem like they do their job simply to collect a pay check. The salesmen at Subaru of Wakefield, and specifically Justin Grant, enjoy their job, and it shows throughout the entire dealership. Hats off to a great salesman and a superb team over at Subaru of Wakefield. If you're in the market for a new or used car, you'd be making a mistake and missing out on an experience not to give Subaru of Wakefield a try. Ask for Justin.... More

I was deciding between getting another CRV or trying a Subaru. (I had a Subaru 30 years ago). We had been a Honda family 13 years and happy with them, but I heard good things about Subaru, so I test drove Subaru. (I had a Subaru 30 years ago). We had been a Honda family 13 years and happy with them, but I heard good things about Subaru, so I test drove. The Sales experience was good. Larry had a sense of humor and seemed honest. I didn't feel pressured. I was disappointed that there weren't many manual transmission cars on the lot. I wasn't over excited about the car I chose, but it seemed good enough, low(ish) miles for a decent price. So after a little back and forth, we agreed on a price. Here is where the rest of the experience was just OK. I needed to pay with a certified check. Due to Larry's schedule, I paid on a Wednesday, but could pick up the car on Friday. He offered to come in on his day off, but he had told me he was going to NYC with his girlfriend, so I didn't want to interfere with that. Why another salesperson couldn't deliver my car, I don't know. Why they needed a certified check, i don't know. Last car we purchased at Herb Chambers Honda took a personal check and delivered the car that day. The car had something like a 150 point inspection, which I later determined was NOT the same as certified pre-owned like Herb Chambers has. No real warranty is included. I pointed out that seat belts didn't retract properly, but the car was delivered without that fixed. Also the rear center belt was jammed. So it makes me wonder what was included in that 150 point inspection if there were several seat belt issues. They don't offer inspections there, so I had to have that done elsewhere. Herb Chambers does it in house. When I paid for the car, I received a generic email thanking me for my business and encouraging me to send feedback. I replied with feedback and didn't hear back. When I picked up the car two days later, I got the same generic email - word for word. Again, I replied that I had quite a lot of feedback and if someone was interested in hearing it, please contact me. Again, I never heard back so that is why I am writing on this website. Herb Chambers called to follow up and make sure everything was 100% satisfactory before the call cames from Honda USA. Honda USA follows up with another satisfaction survey. Larry did check in with me, but at that point I was there to get the seat belts taken care of. Or actually to find out that they couldn't take care of it that day, but only see what part needed to be ordered. After three weeks, I received a generic email from the services department, telling me I could schedule appointments on line. I replied that I would like to schedule something, but I was still waiting for a call that said the seat belt part had come in. I got the call the next day. I thought 3 weeks was a really long time to have to wait for a part. I don't recall waiting more than a couple of days for a Honda part. So that is why I selected OK for everything. Nothing was really bad, but comparing my buying and service experience with Herb Chambers Honda, I was disappointed. More

I can't say enough great things about the staff at subaru of wakefield. I recently purchased a 2014 subaru forester xt . Given the fact I was trading in a 2013 forester base model I was not expecting to receive the great deal I was given . subaru has a great loyalty program and knows how to retain its customers ..Justin did a great job at explaining the differant models and options and never once made me feel pressured to purchase . I would also like to thank Chris in finance . He helped me get a good finance deal and extended warranty. Years back I purchased a used jeep from this dealership and when I decided I wanted a subaru I could have picked five closer subaru dealerships but chose to come back here knowing this is where I would receive the best customer service and deal. I will be back. More

Having never bought a new car before, and having walked out on a poor sales experience the week before (halfway through signing paperwork), we went to Wakefield Subaru and had a great experience. Met up w out on a poor sales experience the week before (halfway through signing paperwork), we went to Wakefield Subaru and had a great experience. Met up with Justin, he showed us a car, an XV CrossTrek, we drove it. and really liked it, but didn't really think the car was for us because the storage was too small. Left the dealer without being pressured. A week later, decided that a Forester might be the way to go. Went back in there, test drove one, then sat in a couple, and had a low-pressure sale. Justin was funny and personable, without being high-pressure or cheesy or talking too much. It seemed to break the stereotype of a car salesman. Very happy with my purchase. Extremely happy with the sales process. More
