Hello! I have grown up and lived in South County my whole life, and being that I am part owner here at Sunset Ford, this community and business has become my life. I am here to help however I can. So whether it be a Service, Parts, Body Shop or Sales related questions or concerns, I can help. I am also passionate in the Accessory and Aftermarket business. As far as when I have spare time outside of work, you will find me working on my personal old trucks, or spending time with my family, wife and 2 girls, either down at Suson Park, Grants Farm, or at the Lake. My goals here at work are to carry on our family traditions in running a local business for over 111 years in the same location. Thanks again to a great team at Sunset Ford I recently purchased my F150 from Sunset Ford. It was highly appreciated that Larry Burchardt was patient with me while I searched for the truck that I recently purchased my F150 from Sunset Ford. It was highly appreciated that Larry Burchardt was patient with me while I searched for the truck that would suit my needs. Always there to answer any questions I had, even on his off time. Treff LaPlant did everything he could do to get me the best deal and when all was said and done I was very satisfied with my purchase. Justine Heutel was very gracious from the service department. There were some minor cosmetic flaws that I had concerns about that were not caught at sale. He got with Larry and made sure that everything was taken care of to my satisfaction. I would for sure do business with Sunset and would have no problem recommending family and friends to shop there. More

Horrible experience Extremely unprofessional and inappropriate. The brand new car had a small interior scratch and since I was buying a brand new vehicle, I thought that Extremely unprofessional and inappropriate. The brand new car had a small interior scratch and since I was buying a brand new vehicle, I thought that the salesman would do everything he could to give me at least a small reimbursement. Since they were selling me a new vehicle with damage that is. My request was denied and the salesman was more interested in taking me out instead of doing his job. After the unpleasant interaction with the sales department, my brand new car broke down 3 days later. They kept it in the shop for over a week. After I picked it up, it broke down again 15 minutes after I left the lot. I have owned the vehicle for a month, and yet I drove it for only 3 days. I'm not even sure when I'm going to get it back. At this point I am terrified that the car will be breaking down like this all the time. It is a huge inconvenience, especially since I have an infant. My request for a different car was denied, so now I am left with a horrible vehicle that has been in the shop since I owned it. The service department is very professional and pleasant to talk to. Mindy Linn went out of her way to treat me fairly and with respect. She kept me updated on the situation and made sure I was taken care of to the extent of her ability. More

appointment not honored I made an appointment on a Friday evening for 7 a.m. on Monday to have my 2012 Fleetwood motorhome service. The motorhome has an F53 Ford chasis. I ma I made an appointment on a Friday evening for 7 a.m. on Monday to have my 2012 Fleetwood motorhome service. The motorhome has an F53 Ford chasis. I made the appointment with their service writer Mike. When I arrived on Monday at 7 am, I was told by their service writer Brett, that her wasn't sure that they could diagnose why my windshield motor would not turn on and that he wouldn't be able to get me in for at least another day. I had told Mike I was already late departing on my trip and he assured me he could get me in first thing Monday. I have had numerous vehicles serviced here before but not anymore. Update as of 5/11/15...I worked with Svc Mgr Justin who appologized for the situation and helped me get my money refunded for a part I purchased from their parts department before I left the day of my appointment. More

Purchasing a 2015 Toyota Camry I found two cars on the internet that I was interested in, to my surprise I was contacted by a sales rep. I didn't feel pressured & was not hit with a ton of e-mails & calls! When I went to Sunset Ford to see the two cars I was greeted by Mike, he was busy but introduced me to Keith Boerding. I thought that was very professional, I didn't have to wait for him, Mike assured me Keith would take good care of me! Well my 2001 ford contour had been very loyal but something kept pulling me to a 2010 Toyota Camry. I still can not believe I left with a beautiful Camry!!! No pressure to buy or spend more, it just happened all so easily. Keith was as happy for me as I was. I will definitely recommend Sunset Ford to whomever is looking for a car!! More

Green Ford Fiesta I was having shifting problems with my Fiesta, I took it to the dealership I bought it from and I felt like they never actually fixed the problem. I I was having shifting problems with my Fiesta, I took it to the dealership I bought it from and I felt like they never actually fixed the problem. I decided to bring it to Sunset Ford and everyone there was so helpful, Brett Mathis was especially helpful, he was very detailed on what he was going to do to fix the problem. Once it was all done he explained what he fixed on it and how the transmission works in my car. I really appreciate his help and kindness. Thank you all!!! More
