Derek was amazing and patient! I bought my first Honda from Brandon Honda (2000 Honda Civic EX new), so I wanted to get my soon-to-be 16-year old a car just like mine because of ho I bought my first Honda from Brandon Honda (2000 Honda Civic EX new), so I wanted to get my soon-to-be 16-year old a car just like mine because of how reliable and amazing my car was for me for 11 years (until I traded it in for a bigger vehicle). I sent an online inquiry about 2022 Honda Civics I could see in person and Derek was the one who responded. He said they weren’t for sale, but he could show us the outside of an already sold one and an employee model, but we couldn’t sit in it or drive it. I told him that was fine; I just wanted to see an actual 2022 Civic in person, and we were just starting our research for vehicles for my soon to be driving daughter and didn’t want to test drive anything. #1- he knew we had no intention of buying anything other than a Silver 2022 Honda Civic, yet he was prepared to show us and answer all of our questions about the Civics. He was so patient, knowledgeable and helpful. #2- he tried to show us a 2022 Honda Insight since they didn’t have what I wanted, and told us it was comparable. I didn’t want to listen. We ran numbers for the 2022 Civics he could pre-sale to us, and I didn’t like the numbers for my daughter’s first car. He tried his hardest to get the numbers down and he did, but it was still not what we wanted. He mentioned the 2022 Honda Insight again. He was so patient with us and was trying to get us to where we wanted to be with our payments, trade-in and total price, so I finally said ok. I will look at the car for you, even though I was completely ok with waiting for a Silver Civic to come in months later. We loved the 2022 Insight Hybrid he showed us. It had comparable options, but amazing gas mileage. 55 MPG city and 49 Hwy. Grey was our daughter’s second option. She saw the car and loved the shiny metallic paint and wanted the Insight instead. He made everything so easy with getting the car processed for a price and payment we wanted. He never pressured us, or rushed us. He made sure we got exactly what we wanted and he even took his time after the sale to explain all of the features in the car and warranty and details of everything we could get with the car. We were set on what we thought we wanted, and we had NO intention on buying the car at the first dealership we went to, but it was the perfect car for us and we had an amazing experience that was easy with Derek and Finance Manager Justin.
