Came in for a noise in the rear suspension (clunk in left rear) and to inspect battery health. Left with a diagnosis of battery not holding charge, recommended rear shocks because they are "tight", and a fre rear) and to inspect battery health. Left with a diagnosis of battery not holding charge, recommended rear shocks because they are "tight", and a free car wash. Decided to verify at home and found a hose clamp rattling around the fuel tank belly pan (in the left rear area) - no faults with the shocks. Verified battery voltage is low at 12.2 volts with car off and doors shut, did not verify CCA. Suggest that the technicians verify noise concerns by starting with common issues like rocks in belly pans (my case it was a hose clamp from assembly, unused) then move to suspension and drive line, inspecting for separated bushings and cracked mounts. More
