I came in inquiring about a RAV4 Prime. The guy who greeted me was nice and told me they probably didn't have any in their inventory but he could check. I was interested in making a deal an The guy who greeted me was nice and told me they probably didn't have any in their inventory but he could check. I was interested in making a deal and driving away with a new car if they did have one. The guy he brought me to, who said his name was Ken, was by far the rudest person I've ever encountered at this dealership and by far the worst salesman I've encountered at *any* dealership. He told me, very flatly, that they didn't have any and that there was a waiting list for them. His tone was condescending and aggressive. Despite this, I asked about how I might be able to test drive one to get a feel for how I might like it before I committed to ordering one with a 4+ month lead time and replied "good luck"... What? How about some professional courtesy. No attempt to upsell me or get me to try other cars, no attempt to search for inventory from other dealerships, nothing. I was so disgusted at this lack of customer service that I walked away immediately. Fremont Toyota has always been a bit of a joke. The last time I tried to buy a car here, the salespeople couldn't tell me any facts about the cars I was interested in. This latest attempt takes the cake, though. Not just incompetence, but outright malice. Never buying a car from here, ever. I suggest everyone else avoid them too More
