Went in for my first service for oil change and tire rotation without an appointment and wad in and out under an hour. we walked into the dealership 10/8 a few minutes later Sheldon walked up a greated us we explained to him what we were looking for after an hour we found the 23 Telluride that we test drove and than we de Sheldon walked up a greated us we explained to him what we were looking for after an hour we found the 23 Telluride that we test drove and than we decided to buy the car . we told Sheldon that we needed to know ASAP if they could match the 11,000 amount that Carmax was giving us for our RDX so if they couldnt do it ,we could run over to Carmax and get the check right a way (please note that I had explained that we have a service dog home alone and time was importance . well it took an hour for them to come back with an offer of 3,600 all they had to do was just tell us ,we had to rush over to Carmax get the check to put towards the car. we told Sheldon on tuesday since Sheldon told us that he was giving the car to his best detailer to clean the car , well when he came back the car was not accectable and all of the sudden there was sratches on the right door bottom line the car was not detailed. we told Sheldon that we would be back on 10/10 and to make sure that the car was done ,to pay and pick-up the car when he was in on 10/10 plus we wanted the copy of the front end alinement get the sratches out of the door. please note after spending 3 1/2 hours we returned 10/10 to find out that the car sat for 2 days without anything being completed now Sheldon wanted us to waite another 2 1/2 hours to get the work completed , we went out to run some errands had lunch,payed for the car and it still wasnt completed ,Sheldon stated that he was bringing the car to us . the whole sales experince so poor and sad for a jim ellis dealership to give this type sales service (we will be sending Stacey a letter concerning our experince )along with a google review no one went went over all the bells and whistles The Service Manager never called us back after leaving 2 messages than went through Joy to get the full copy of the service history to match up with the CarFax . no car manual no call back after we made an appointment concerning the passager airbag light coming on we had asked joy to get inouch with SM about a loner car since they will need to have the car for 4/5 days so we didnt go to the appointment The best part and easy was with Bryson Smith and dealing with Joy the 1st time\ please note that the SM did call us back a few days later and we did got over the Service History at that time i told hime that i wasnt happy about the whole experince . lastly we were told that the car was a dealer loner,only to find out that it was owned by someone else (that whole story was a lie ) we were never was introduce to the sale manager or anyone else it was a very unpleasant buying experience not like the outstanding sales experince that i had a week ago form Hennessey Honda when i got my Honda Ridgeline they did me right !! so it does pay to shop around to get the great type of sales experince from other dealerships please note that my wife Leslie drove to the service dept about the airbag light coming on since we never heard back from anyone it was Kris Musgrove and explained that nthe new seat covers might be causing it More

Ever single person helping could not have been nicer despite the fact that it was the end of the day. They appreciated how important it was for me to have a working car for the next morning. After a bad experience with the rude service manager at Cartiage Kia (where I purchased my new K5 in 2021), I began coming to Jim Ellis Kia in Kennesaw. Service was great but it is really annoying how every time I schedule a service, I get a phone call regarding if I am interested in getting my vehicle appraised. The most recent phone entailed the repres time I schedule a service, I get a phone call regarding if I am interested in getting my vehicle appraised. The most recent phone entailed the representative asking me if my car was paid off after I told her I wasn’t interested because I can’t afford a new car at this time. That was none of her business. I should have replied “I don’t know, is yours?” If I continue getting annoying phone calls like this, I will be taking my car to get serviced elsewhere. Thank you. More
