Granted the salesman, Kuba, didn't know of or have to tell me about mechanical issues, but I regret buying a car without an accurate mechanics report. It is important you know what you're selling to people and to be honest about it. I’ve had nothing but repairs since I bought this car, most of which I directly asked about when inspecting the vehicle before buying, and more is going wrong still. The dealership offered to tow it back to them in Illinois and fix it, but denied so much was actually wrong with it. The vehicle needed a transmission repair, which was still under warranty, and control arms and struts. The breaks are very worn and need done soon which at least is more expected due to the vehicle mileage. The sunroof was damaged while at the Fort Wayne dealership, so now lot of controls like the trunk button, seat belt alarm, heated seats, and temperature controls are all working intermittently. This whole process has been a mess! I have learned to require a pre purchase inspection even if the dealership inspects it, and especially if they say nothing is wrong with it. Nothing holds them liable to tell you the truth or even show you a report. Kuba and the sales management team were great to talk with, but they are still salesmen doing what they do best. At the end of the day, it’s about the money not the customer, and that’s life, regardless of what is spun about customer satisfaction. More
