Born and raised in the Oakville area, Kurt is the youngest of 13 children. While working in sales for several years, he was new to auto sales when he joined the staff of Mungenast St. Louis Honda in early 2011. Kurt was promoted April 2021 to Finance and in February 2022 promoted again to Pre-Owned General Sales Manager. In his free time, Kurt enjoys spending time with his wife Cheryl, son Alex, and stepson Hunter, traveling, the beach, and sports.

Great Experience I had friends and a mechanic recommend St. Louis Honda and Shan Herwig. When I visited Shan was not available, so I worked with Kurt Marty. In my fo I had friends and a mechanic recommend St. Louis Honda and Shan Herwig. When I visited Shan was not available, so I worked with Kurt Marty. In my follow up visit, Shan took care of me. Both Shan and Kurt were extremely helpful and helped made the sales process fairly painless. I have already recommended St. Louis Honda to others since my purchase a few weeks ago. More

If you don't want to deal with b.s... Go to Mungenast. If you're looking to play games with the car buying experience and have your trade in dicked down...don't go to Mungenast. If, when shopping for a new car, you're looking forward to a handshake from a guy with "weak" hands...go to Napleton. Kurt Marty at Mungenast has none of the before mentioned attributes. Kurt got me the best accord ex-l at the best price with the best dealership. Shop around if you want "weak" handshakes and b.s., or go see Kurt and get the best. More

Great Experience My husband and I had been looking for a particular car for a couple of weeks. When I found one on The Mungenast Website I called and spoke to Kurt Mar My husband and I had been looking for a particular car for a couple of weeks. When I found one on The Mungenast Website I called and spoke to Kurt Marty. He had just gotten the car on their lot and there were no pictures. He went back into the detail area and described the vehicle to me. He held the car until we had time to get to the dealership to see it. It was perfect. What was nice is there was NO high pressure. No pressuring phone calls either!! The price was right and the sales team even stayed late enough that we could grab a dinner because we came right from work and were starving. Much thanks to Kurt and Javier and the rest of the team. You guys are great! More

My new Outlook I went in for just a cheap, little car that I could drive aorund for a few years. I wasn't looking for anything fancy, just something to get me from I went in for just a cheap, little car that I could drive aorund for a few years. I wasn't looking for anything fancy, just something to get me from A to B. I looked at several and thought I knew what I wanted. While emailing back and forth with Kurt Marty he mentioned he had a car he wanted me to see. I went out to Mungenast that day, and immediately fell in love with his recommendation. It was in my price range and had all the bells and whistles I ever wanted in a car. We talked with Tiffany and she crunched some numbers for me, and within an hour the car was mine. I am extremely happy with my choice and very happy Kurt showed me this car. I would defintinitely come back to buy another car from him, or recommend him to someone else. More

Best Car-Buying Experience of My Life! I have had my car for a week, and I still can't believe that it's mine. Everything about it is perfect, and the experience that I had at St. Louis Ho I have had my car for a week, and I still can't believe that it's mine. Everything about it is perfect, and the experience that I had at St. Louis Honda was unbelievably positive. I have a disability, and I use a wheelchair to get around. Because of this, my car-buying options are limited. I need to store the wheelchair behind me, Because of this, I have always driven coupes, due to the the ease of access into the back seat. Unfortunately many car makers have eliminated coupes from their lineups, and I was really frustrated about my options...until I saw the 2011 Honda Accord Coupe at St. Louis Honda. I found it online, and I sent an e-mail to Kurt Marty, inquiring about its availability. Fortunately, it was still available, so I set up an appointment to come take a look at It the next day. I live in Hazelwood, so it was kind of a drive to the dealership in South County, but I knew that I was interested in the car. It had very low miles (16,000), and it had the options that I was looking for. When I got to the dealership, I had to take a test "ride". I drive with my left leg, because my right leg is paralyzed. Because of this, I always have to have an aftermarket piece put on the car so I can use it. So I had Kurt drive the car. I instantly made a connection with Kurt. He was easy to talk to. I am a high school teacher, and I found out that his wife was also a teacher. So we had a lot to talk about. By the time that we got back to the dealership, I knew that I wanted the car. We discussed a price that I was happy with, and I started signing the paperwork for the "buying" phase of the transaction. Then, I went into financing. Unfortunately I went into financing at about 5:45, and the dealership was set to close in 15 minutes. So I went home without a deal in place. Fortunately Kurt called me while I was driving home to tell me that financing had been secured for the car. What happened next was the unbelievable part. I have ALWAYS had to have a parent or friend drive a car off of the lot for me, because I can't drive it without the piece put on. Then I would have to rely on rides for the next couple of days while the piece is being installed. It's a logistical nightmare. Kurt suggested that he might be able to have the piece installed, before I even pick up the car, and then I could drive it off of the lot like everyone else does. I have never had a dealership offer that level of customer service before, and I was shocked at his suggestion. He acted like it wasn't an inconvenience at all, and he just repeated "Everyone deserves to be able to drive their car off of the lot." So that is precisely what happened. I prepaid for the left foot accelerator with the 3rd party company, and Kurt took my car there to get it installed. He then drove it back, after it was finished. So when I went to pick it up on Wednesday, it was in perfect working order for me. I still had to sign all of my financing paperwork, but I felt that Brandon Cozzens was just as friendly as Kurt. He was also easy to talk to, and he made the process of signing loan paperwork...a little bit enjoyable. After that was done, I drove off in my car, and I have had a stupid grin on my face ever since. I could easily have written 500 more words about the treatment that I received from Kurt and Brandon...it was that exemplary. I have shared the story of my car purchase with all of my 300 friends on Facebook, and I have told lots of other people about the personal service that St. Louis Honda gave me. I hope that I am able to send a lot of business their way, because they deserve it. They definitely have a customer for life! More
