Overall very disappointed with our experience. We are currently in a dispute with the dealer regarding undisclosed damage they refuse to cover. I could write an essay, but in summary be sure to 100% inspect every inch of the car before purchasing. The sales manager Kyle fed us some B.S. to make the sale day of regarding condition & now we are stuck with a devalued vehicle due to post sale located damage. They also pushed us into buying and taking home same day vs coming back without our kids by not letting us put money down and come back. Kyle has also made comments through the process disparaging our personalities which was not appreciated and unexpected. Unless Sunset decides to be honorable and fix our vehicle / make things right, we would not recommend doing business with them. Unfortunately it's a buyer beware situation for us as of now, we should have been more skeptical and would not have expected this out of a family owned dealership. More

I’ve never been to this dealership and didn’t know what to expect because I live 3 1/2 hours away. Joe made me feel like a regular customer and took care of me and my family. There was no hidden fees basic to expect because I live 3 1/2 hours away. Joe made me feel like a regular customer and took care of me and my family. There was no hidden fees basically no B.S that you can run into when buying a vehicle. Everything was explained and broken down and they didn’t try to force you to buy anything. Great experience! John Ries was one of the best salesman I have ever dealt with at a dealership. I told exactly where I was, what I wanted to see and he did just that, rather than trying to blow smoke or be shady. He was full transparent and genuine, I wish more would be like him when buying a vehicle. Andrew was just as straightforward. This was the most honest, transparent, and straight forward crew I have dealt with when purchasing a vehicle. Will definitely recommend Sunset Ford of Waterloo to others. More
