I visited BMW of Silver Spring looking for clarification on what to do on my current leased Volvo XC60 R Design. I had come to the realization that leasing was not for me as I would be well over my mileage on what to do on my current leased Volvo XC60 R Design. I had come to the realization that leasing was not for me as I would be well over my mileage allowance by the end of the lease. Used stock had a X3 M40i with very low mileage in my color!!...the Used Car manager gave me a very fair trade and I was able to convert to a purchase and car that I can get excited about. Coming from a performance-driven family (my Son is a tuner for a racing team) engine power, performance and the thrill of the road is in our blood. The M40i in the smaller SUV (which amazingly had exact dimensions including wheelbase as my XC60) is an amazing combination. Kyle was wonderful, easily answering my questions and taking the time to demonstrate where to find things in the idrive interface. He was polite, knowledgeable, and even provided necessary snacks as his team at BMW had to work a few new kinks out the new dealer trade process with Volvo leasing...I feel ALIVE again. I had all but given in to the fact that anything that I would like to drive - aka a beautiful crossover would be bland and boring in performance in my price range. The Sport Plus mode had me on the phone with my boy giddy about 0-60 in 4.6 sec and sending him a YouTube link so he could "hear" my factory-installed tune. So wonderful to be taken back to my Mustang GT, Ford Lightning, and Nissan 300Z days...and now with passengers! I am so thankful I stopped by in investigation mode. So happy to be back in a BMW! More
