The service center is manned by kindly polite folks. I want to give them 5 stars, but here’s why I’m not. The first summer I had my brand new Forester, the AC didn’t work. I went in for service and was I want to give them 5 stars, but here’s why I’m not. The first summer I had my brand new Forester, the AC didn’t work. I went in for service and was told something like: a factory setting hadn’t been activated so they charged it up for me. It did work last summer, but this summer, did not work again. Returned it( 6,000 miles on it , BTW), and this year I was told something like: we have better diagnostic equipment now, and you did have a leak. Got it home and a few weeks later, the rear hatch had an issue with the “pistons” that raise it and they had to be replaced. I am a senior citizen, living several towns away. I certainly hope I’m through with your lovely men for a while. More
