Worst dealership on Long Island We bought a 2018 Cruze from Atlantic Chevrolet 2 weeks ago. The salesman, Nick, was very attentive and explained everything just fine. He did push the entire "Completely Satisfied" line a bit too much, letting us know that he doesn't get paid unless we rate the dealership with all 10's on their satisfaction survey. I found this to be extremely annoying and seemed like he was begging for good reviews. Not a good sign. if you are capable, your work speaks for itself, you don't need to beg for accolades. Within a few days, the car developed an issue and had to be serviced. The passenger headlight housing had condensation inside it. They agreed to replace it. I was told they would call when the part came in. Keep in mind, this was a 3 day old car at the time. I received a post card about a week later saying the part was in. I tried to call and schedule an appointment and got bounced around and had to call back 3 times before I decided to just go to the dealership and have the part installed. I get to the dealership and they tell me they will give me the part. I was shocked. You won't install a replacement part on a brand new 2018 car you sold me a week ago? They begrudgingly agreed to install the part but informed me they probably could not give me a loaner car but could maybe "give you a ride home." Seriously? I asked them If they were kidding at which time they asked if I could wait until after the weekend and they would try their best to arrange a car. They have a few thousand of them on the lot, this should be pretty easy, right? Monday rolls around and I show up at noon, like I said I would and I am greeted at the service area by Nick who sold me the car. He is glad-handing way too much and not getting the hint that I want to drop my car off and get back to work. The woman in service says they have a car for me. I just want to sign papers and leave. She wants my insurance, my license and my credit card. I am already annoyed with these morons, so I give it to her and get outside. She tells me, "no smoking or pets in the courtesy car." I get to the car and it is a Volt, a massive piece of garbage on wheels. I open the door and I am greeted with the smell of cigarettes and sweat..so awesome. The car smelled horrible. I don't smoke, so it was extra awesome for me. Thank god I work a mile from the dealership. I was also told I would have to replace any fuel I used. I used the car for a total of 2 miles. It's an electric car...does she want me to give her a 9 volt battery? Keep the change...moron. So, needless to say, I have had it with this place already. They call me at 2 to tell me the car is ready. I tell them I will get it after I get off work at 4pm. I head back up there, park the loaner at the service lot and head inside to get my car. I don't see it, so I go in to service, drop off the loaner keys and ask for my car. They direct me to the cashier, I have to sign for the repair. I get to the cashier and a woman asks me to wait a minute as she calls Nick (the guy who sold me the car) to the counter. She stalls me for a minute, I know what's coming. Nick is going to come harass me and try to save his precious dealer review. Not a good idea. I am a quiet person, I am not a friendly or accommodating person. If you bug the crap out of me, you get the exact opposite of what you want from me, which is what we have here. Nick would not let it go, he followed me all the way out to my car, the whole time telling me he never disrespected me and he fears I will give him a bad review. He wanted to know what he could do to make it right and I told him, several times, to leave me alone. He just could not grasp that. I finally told him, "I am giving you a sign here, leave me alone." He may have sensed he had pushed me to a very dangerous point for him, and if he put his hand on me again, I was going to react. He finally walked away and I was able to leave. Needless to say, this dealership is a disaster. I will take my car to another dealership if it needs service and I will be sure to steer people clear of this mismanaged dump of a dealership. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. More

got a great deal! Nick was a great salesman! He worked with us throughtout the entire process to get us the best deal possible. Incredibly helpful and professional, to Nick was a great salesman! Great Experience! Nick was fantastic, helped me and communicates with me from when I first walked through the door till the day I picked up my car and beyond. He was able to track down a hard to find car for me and was able to even offer me a loaner car through the process. Nothing but courteous and professional, a pleasure to deal with. Would come back here first and would highly recommend. More
