I've been proudly employed with Bill Hood Ford Lincoln for 27 years. My goal is to ensure that every customer enjoys their sales experience and saves time during the process. I live in Ponchatoula, LA with my wife and two daughters and enjoy relaxing in my backyard and cooking on the Big Green Egg. My favorite quote is from Henry Ford who said "Employers only handle the money - It is the customer who pays the wages"

My questions were answered and an appointment was setup for a test. I met with Mr. Lenny, went for a test drive and he answered many questions about the truck. Then I was stuck with Mr. Jack, haha. Mr. Jack was nice, knowledgeable, and funny. I haven’t had to deal with many salesmen, but he has been the best. I cringe, and hate vehicle shopping. He put me at ease. Actually, everyone that I dealt with did. I would recommend this Dealership 100%. More

They didn’t really answer my questions and had a poor attitude. Still interested in the truck I gave them the benefit of doubt. I can say I will never do that again. I began the financing portion of the deal and informed them I live in Texas and would be traveling in to pick up the truck if all goes well. That day was around 4pm on Friday and apparently three hours was not enough time for them to find financing with someone with a 750 credit score. I called back Saturday morning around 10:30 to check and see about the financing. Lenny said we’ll when are you wanting to buy the truck? I about fell out of my chair. Lol Normally when someone is looking at a vehicle and filling out financing paperwork that means there interested in buying a vehicle then not later. Entire time Lenny response to everything was as if he really didn’t want to deal with any of it. Sounds to me like complacency and laziness has set in. After many questions later I decided we’ll im going to drive in five hours to look and possibly close on the truck. The only concern any of the sales department had was that it was Saturday and they close at 5pm. So basically if I was going to drive five hours there I better get there before five. No problem, I got there at 4:15... Upon arriving not one person/employee that works for Bill Hood ever once introduce themselves, Never. I looked at the truck and it had multiple problems with it. The front differential was literally dripping in there parking lot. Axles seals blown and leaking. Poor quality lift job was performed and it was obvious at a glance in person where they don’t photograph purposely. Also they ailed to mention that the truck had been tuned and fully deleted, all emissions system was removed. They might want to read the laws on that before selling it. I was pissed to say the least. Told them to put the $500 hold money back on my card and I left. Bill Hood Ford and Lenny are the most unprofessional group of people I have ever encountered buying a vehicle my entire life. More

I drove my tra I contacted Gary from NC on Friday afternoon and by close of business, we had come to an agreement of terms for a new F-250 Super Duty. I drove my trade in down Sunday night and arrived at Bill Hood Ford Monday morning. Immediately upon my arrival, Gary greeted us and showed me the new truck. Next, Barbara was extremely helpful during delivery actions giving me an increased amount of knowledge regarding the trucks’s capabilities. The finance department was next, Marshall took great care of me by not only offering me an extended warranty but he also found a better rate for financing. Overall, I was very surprised at how helpful and customer oriented the staff at Bill Hood Ford was during my experience. I would encourage and recommend family and friends to purchase a vehicle from Bill Hood. More

The Raptor Experience If you have the patience, order the Raptor is absolutely the best way to go. It took just shy of 3 months to receive but it was definitely worth it. If you have the patience, order the Raptor is absolutely the best way to go. It took just shy of 3 months to receive but it was definitely worth it. The salesman was excellent and put up with my impatience during that wait. If you are doing it the way I did, don’t give up. The dealership personnel were great and the Raptor speaks for itself. It is an incredible truck. More

Worst experience ever Worst experience at a dealership EVER! I wish I would have never purchased my vehicle through this place. Sales/finance told us what we wanted to hear Worst experience at a dealership EVER! I wish I would have never purchased my vehicle through this place. Sales/finance told us what we wanted to hear to purchase the vehicle but service dept doesn’t honor what was promised. I’ve only had the vehicle for about 4 months and have had to bring it into service at least 3 times, which was multiple days I had to take off work. Customer service agents will tell you what you want to hear on the phone or through mobile app, but again, service dept doesn’t honor what the agents promised. Scheduled an oil change and diagnostic, only to arrive to be told they dont have anyone on staff today to do the diagnostic. Made the appointment for 8:30, and at 10:00 my vehicle is still sitting in the same spot where I dropped it off, still not touched. Asked cashier how long it would take, and she told me it was first come first serve. So what was the point in making an appointment?? I will never purchase another vehicle from this place. Once warranty is up, I will never return to this dealership and will advise all friends and family to not come to this place. All they want is your money, then they don’t care about you after. UPDATE: After posting this review, Lenny Becnel, Manager at Bill Hood Ford Lincoln responded and asked me to call him. I spoke with him briefly about my issues and he advised he would get back to me. 2 business days later, I received a call from Barbara Wilkinson, in the Customer Relations dept, asking when I could bring my vehicle in for service, which I brought in the same day. Barbara was very nice and friendly, but I did find it a little off-putting when she asked, "Since we are doing this for you, I'm going to ask you to do something for us, and change your review" I felt like this question should have been asked of me AFTER the service was completed, not before (I have been in the customer service industry for 10+ years, and I know mistakes happen, but I would not have asked a customer to change their review before I had a chance to make things right). I also didn't feel as if they were doing anything above and beyond for me by simply servicing my vehicle, which should have been serviced weeks prior, but again, she was very nice and friendly each time I spoke with her. It turns out, my transmission was bad and had to be replaced. Luckily I purchased the added warranty, so I didn't have to come out of pocket, but a part of me felt like the dealership knew the transmission was bad when it was sold to me as we noticed the transmission issues on the test drive, but didn't think anything of it at the time, until the issues got worse. I'm updating the review because Barbara asked me too, but I still don't think the dealership did anything to warrant a good review from me. Everything that was completed after I posted this initial review, should have been done from the get go. The only thing that was done for me was they waived the $100 deductible for the warranty, which I do appreciate, but I don't feel that alone deserves a good review. It shouldn't take a customer writing a bad review to get the same level of service that I would normally expect from any dealership. More
