Totally ecstatic with my purchase I went in for my oil change on my current Honda and my salesman Travis Landry and I talked about what options I had for my next vehicle. A terrible experience as a first time NEW car buyer As a first time NEW car buyer, I was quite dissatisfied with my buying experience, and very disappointed. Lindsey Haraden, my sales consultant, was to As a first time NEW car buyer, I was quite dissatisfied with my buying experience, and very disappointed. Lindsey Haraden, my sales consultant, was too pushy, and only offered me an embarrassingly small amount ($1,000) for my trade in, even after I showed her the $1,100 in receipts for work I recently had done to my car and the $2,000 trade in amount Carbone Honda offered me. I had even spent hours finely detailing the interior of my car so I would receive the same amount as the other dealer. And, both cars were at the same price point. I should have received the full $2,000 - not just 1/2, which I am still very unhappy about, and will never forget either. Lindsey even commented to me on the ridiculously low amount she offered. She knew it was very unfair and wrong... but did it anyway!! Also, when it came time to test drive the new car, she sidestepped that action, reasoning I had already test drove that same model car at Carbone Honda. I felt this was very wrong too... and because of her choice, a vibrating noice detected on the long drive home, could have been found during the test drive. Ultimately, my wife had to be inconvenienced and drive the new 2017 Honda back to the dealer to get it looked at. My feelings of the whole situation worsened even more when I felt like Lindsey was always in complete control and dominating during my buying experience. I felt like I had not a single say in anything I brought to her attention regarding the car. It was HER way or no way. Just rushing and channeling me through everything to start and finish the sales process, when I was still far from that point. In retrospect, if I could, I would go back and start all over again, and would love to feel satisfied and happy just like anyone else, but unfortunately, I'm not either. Very, very unsatisfied, and very unhappy. Things could improve some though if I was given the other $1,000 I should have received for my trade in. In closing, too many things went wrong here, and I was the one who unhappily ended up buying the car from her, even after all the disappointments during the sales process. I'll have to say, I have never done business like this before, no matter what I had purchased, and can definitely say it was a terrible experience I had as a first time NEW car buyer. I hope I can be accommodated with the other $1,000 I never received for my trade in, to make things right. More
