Had a Lexus battery w/a 5yr warranty die after just 3yrs. Had battery tested which came back “poor”. Called to make appt. was told by Service no appt. was needed, and there would be no charge for labor/parts Had battery tested which came back “poor”. Called to make appt. was told by Service no appt. was needed, and there would be no charge for labor/parts. Arrived on Monday morning, explained the battery tested poor and was there for replacement. Was told the battery is only covered for 2yrs and the other 3yrs are prorated. Additionally would need to pay approx. $170.00 for the car to be tested “incase” we were wrong and it isn’t the battery. Unfortunately agreed to this mistake and sat for approx. 2hrs waiting. Came back to say the battery just needed to be recharged and I need to drive it more often. Next day go to drive the car and once again it’s dead. Purchased a new battery on our own and the car is performing as expected. Terrible experience, never again! More
