Being a single Mom with 3 daughters; 1 married, 1 in college, and 1 a competition dancer, I didn't have alot of time or money to put into finding a new vehicle. After alot of researching we went into The Lake Norman Dodge and Jeep Dealership and was greeted by Stephanie who introduced us to Brian. He was very friendly, sympathetic, and easy to talk to. He listened to all of the specifications I gave him(even my silly need of "GOOD" cup holders) and then showed me a few vehicles ...recommending a Dodge Grand Caravan...the Stow and Go! This van was very nice and seemed to fit all of our needs; my dancer has very long legs and needs alot of room, my college daughter hopes to be getting in the dorm next year and I will be needing to "Stow and Go" the seats to make room so that I can move her in, and my married daughter constantly drinks water in bottles or gigantic cups(we even brought one of her cups to make sure it would fit in the cup holders!). Seeing the price of the van I needed time to think about it so we left that day without purchasing the van. When we returned to look at it again, Brian was off and Stephanie introduced us to Maggie. She was just as great as Brian had been and was very understanding. Brian had suggested that we use the van for a night so I asked Maggie if this were possible and she proceded to work with Olbey to set us up. It was a wonderful adventure as I could get all 3 of my daughters together to check out the van, riding around, testing the cup holders, stowing the seats, etc. The next day when I returned the van, I was ready to purchase and Brian, Maggie, and Craig helped me; working together to get me the best deal ever, trading in my old van for the new one, financing, and even adding on running boards so that my Mother(79 years old) will not have a problem getting in or out of my new van! It has been several weeks now and my whole family is extremely happy with our NEW Dodge Grand Caravan(named Rupert)! I enjoyed my whole experience working with the friendly and courteous staff at Lake Norman Dodge and Jeep Dealership! More

We were a hard deal to make. I previously purchased a new car a couple of years ago and after 4 layoffs in 3 years and divorce my credit score wasn't very good. Due to my credit history I wasn't able to get car a couple of years ago and after 4 layoffs in 3 years and divorce my credit score wasn't very good. Due to my credit history I wasn't able to get a good loan so I ended up with a 17% interest loan. In addition, I had made the mistake of trading in a car that I stilled owed alot on to get that 17% interest loan... so not only did I have a very bad interest rate, I was in the hole with alot of negative equity (almost $10,000). The car that I traded in had a higher interest rate though... so at the time, I felt like it was a better deal than what I currently had. The car I traded in was from one of those places that will finance anyone and charge 20%+ interest. Unfortunately, I still had a payment of $694/month to pay. Over the past 3 years we have worked hard to improve our credit and have seen some success but we are still roughly at a 640 beacon between my wife and I. We haven't been late or missed any payments in the last 5 years but are carrying high balances on a few credit cards in relation to the limit (about 75% utilization) because we used them to pay for our 19 year old daughter to attend community college. I have tried to get our car loan refinanced but noone would refinance the loan because the car had lost alot of value and at this point I owed almost double the value of the car. Every month I made my $694 car payment and just figured I would have to bite the bullet. I had almost given up on it and figured I would have to just pay off the loan with the high interest rate. Last week I received a marketing flyer from Lake Norman Chrysler. Normally, I just throw them away... but this one said that Chrysler was offering up to $3000 over Kelley Blue Book for trade ins and up to $10,000 off MSRP for some 2010 models. The current payoff on my 2007 Chrysler Sebring was $22,750 and the fair bluebook value was roughly $8000. Looking at those numbers you can see why I felt like I was over my head. I basically owed $15000 more than the car was worth... all the while paying 17% interest. I figured I didn't have anything to lose by calling them and the first sentence I said to Maggie was "I completely doubt that you can help me.". Maggie was very patient and kind while I explained my situation to her. Her response was "I think we can help you". She told me that the dealership had built a sales and finance management team that she felt were the best she had seen in her 10 years at Lake Norman Chrysler. I was still very skeptical. I have dealt with a few dealerships in my life and have never been very happy with the truthfulness of the salespeople. My wife felt the same way so I told Maggie that I didn't want to fill out a credit application unless they could assure me that they could make the deal happen. Later that evening, I got a call from Russell who told me that he thought they could make a deal that would work for me on a new 2010 Dodge Charger. I told him that I could probably only come up with $2500 down and he told me that I might have to come up with a better down payment in order to get my interest rate lowered much because, typically, only high risk (read high interest rate) banks would finance someone who was as upside down as I was with that low of a down payment. If I really wanted to get my interest rate and payment down that I would need to go with a better bank. The issue is that the better banks typically will only finance 118-120% with a beacon score like mine. I told him that I probably wouldn't be able to come up with more right now and he told me that they would do their best to make it work. The next day, Maggie called me and asked me if I had spoken with Russell and that they had gone over the numbers and that I should probably come in so that they could go over it with me. I agreed and went in after work. I got to the dealership around 6-6:30. Maggie showed me the car and I liked it alot... it's a black pearl color and it had 16 miles on it. When we got back from test driving the car she introduced me to Russell and Obie who are the internet sales manager and sales manager respectively. Russell was very honest and up front with me about the numbers and Obie was very energetic and upbeat. He told me that they had gone over the numbers and felt like they could indeed make it happen. I felt like they were all very honest with me... and that was refreshing considering that I hold a very low opinion of car sales people due to past experience. Maggie took down our credit information and submitted it to financing. I waited about 30-40 minutes and then Russell came over and sat down at the table with me. He said that he had good news and bad news. The good news was that I was approved for financing through Ally at 11.99% (which would reduce my payment by over $100/month even with the new car) and the bad news was that I would have to put down $4500. However, they would allow me to pay the down payment over 45 days... so basically, they would take the $2500 I had and hold a $2000 check. After some thought, I decided I could probably do that... I had some things that I could sell to come up with the difference and I wouldn't have a payment in the next month... so I basically had to come up with $1300 in addition to my normal payment. At 8:30pm (2-2 1/2 hours after I arrived) I agreed to the deal. Russell told me that it would be best to come back the next day so that they would have time to get the paperwork together and I wouldn't have to wait for them to do that. In addition, I could take the new car with me... so I drove out of the lot that night with a new Dodge Charger and a lower payment. The next evening my wife and I drove to the dealership to sign the papers and give them the down payment. I was able to sell some of the stuff I needed to sell that day... so I walked in with $3000 to give them down and they would hold the check for $1500. We arrived at the dealership around 7pm and took care of the down payment and check as well as being congratulated by a number of the staff, including Russell and Obie. Maggie took the car down to the gas station and filled it with gas while we sat down with Leanne? (I am not 100% positive of her name... sorry). The first thing she told me was that she had good news and that she had fight a little bit with the bank and was able to get the interest rate dropped to 9%! That means that my payment ended up being almost $140 less than what I was paying before! The original MSRP on the Charger was around $26,000. I ended up financing $30,500. This meant that I was able to reduce my negative equity by almost $10,000 while reducing my interest rate by 8%. The hidden story here is that, after they got me the approval on Thursday evening, on Friday morning I called 2 Chevy dealerships and a Ford dealership (I only buy American for myself) to see if they could do a better deal. So, by 10am on Friday, I already had 3 dealerships working on it to see what they could come up with. By 6pm, before I went to sign the paperwork at Lake Norman Chrysler, they had all called me back and told me that they couldn't do the deal. In the end, I feel like Lake Norman Chrysler really pulled a superman effort for me and they have won a customer for life. The fact that 3 other dealerships couldn't do what Lake Norman Chrysler did (and in a timely fashion I must say) speaks volumes to me. More

I called this dealership after finding a hard to find vehicle that I was looking for and seeing that the vehicle was in transit to this dealership. I live in Jacksonville, Florida and has searched throug vehicle that I was looking for and seeing that the vehicle was in transit to this dealership. I live in Jacksonville, Florida and has searched throughout Florida and around the Atlanta area. I found a vehicle close to what I was looking for in Atlanta but after checking the web site one more time before closing the deal in Atlanta, I found exactly what I was looking for at Lake Norman. I placed a call to the dealership and asked for a sales associate. I was connected to Maggie Carrigan. I have never purchased an autobobile over the phone before, but Maggie made the experience a great one and one in which I feel that I got a very fair deal. See worked with me over the course of several days before finalizing the deal. She was very knowledgeable, professional and a great person to deal with. She never tried to exert pressure on me to conclude the deal, but rather worked with me in all that I asked. She was very good at getting requested information and returning calls. Once I arrived at the dealership, she took a lot of time, even though a special event was going on that day, to complete the transaction and tell/show me all about my new vehicle. I have already recommended her to a friend of mine. Once the sale was completed, I awas turned over to Tony Zorn to complete all of the financial paperwork. Tony, too, was very knowledgeable and professional and a please to deal with remotely. He facilitated the transaction by sending the information to me overnight to complete and return, He assisted in answering all of my questions to my satisfaction and dealt with all issues relating to the transaction. Both Maggie and Tony were a real pleasure to work with on this transaction. Upon arriving at the dealership, I received a tour of the very nice facility and meet a number of the people there. They were all very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I am glad I chose this dealership to purchase my new vehicle. More

WOW, where do I begin? Several years ago we purchased a new Jeep Wrangler from LNCJ and were fortunate enough to meet Mr. Saltzman. He was great in helping us to wrap up a deal! We were shopping around an new Jeep Wrangler from LNCJ and were fortunate enough to meet Mr. Saltzman. He was great in helping us to wrap up a deal! We were shopping around and went to several dealers in nearby cities but could not really work out a suitable deal so we headed back once again to LNCJD. We met Maggie and her smile right off...She was great in showing us what was available and test drives...the whole 9, no 10 yards...She went right to work on the details and, with the help of Craig Smith, Russell Owen and everyone working as "a dream team" got us into Finance where Tony Zorn went right to work. Tony was determined, once again, to get us the best deal possible and he did. These guys mean business. If you are in the market for an automobile, Why Go Anywhere Else? I know that the service department will be great and work with us as needed because the same personnell are still there! We are very happy with our new Jeep Liberty Sport and we can guarantee, if you shop with LNCJD, you will be happy also. Hey, and Maggie even got me a new Liberty key chain because I had just spent several dollars on a "special" one for my trade in vehicle...Now, I'm the one with the smile in my new Jeep. More

I bought a car here right after Jack took over the dealership, when they had this big sale going on and offered all kinds of incentives to buy new. My wife gets a new car every 2 to 3 years, and was dealership, when they had this big sale going on and offered all kinds of incentives to buy new. My wife gets a new car every 2 to 3 years, and was due a new vehicle. After purchasing, and a couple of service visits, I mentioned to the service adviser that I wanted to meet the GM and thank him for such a great vehicle and wonderful service. This was maybe 6 month's after Jack and Robin purchased the dealership. So I met Jack and recognized right away a kindred spirit. Jack not only made sure that every time I brought in my car we were treated as royalty, but he took me around and introduced me to all his "key players" to make sure I knew them personally so that if I had any issues, I'd know who to come to for resolution. Since then, I've purchased 4 other vehicles from Jack. Well, a couple of years ago it came time for me to buy myself a car (all others were for the wife). I'd had a company car for 24+ years and was moving to a new level of management that didn't allow for a company vehicle, so needed one for myself. This vehicle I wanted to be a convertible first, but then it had to have room, be comfortable on the road as I drive everywhere, economical yet fun, and able to last. I called Jack from Chicago where I was looking at purchasing a used BMW Convertible while on a business trip, and asked if he had anything on the lot in convertible that I could look at. He said, "of course I do, come on down, I'll beat the price on that BMW and you'll be glad I did". Well, he hadn't mentioned a PT Cruiser, or I may have just gone and bought that BMW. I had previously driven base model PT's in Dallas as rental cars when visiting my corporate office, and never thought much of them. Spacious, yes, very comfortable seating stance (I'm a great big guy!), very much yes, but no options and lacking power. Jack pointed at this cute silver PT Convertible and told one of his sales people to put me in it. I grumbled about it right up until I sat in it. The seats, nice leather and well done. The interior was very nice, decent enough stereo, but what caught my eye was it was a 5-speed manual transmission, tied to a 2.4 ltr turbocharged engine. The test drive blew me away, I told the sales person to call he dealership and have them start the paperwork before we'd even gotten back. Since then I've put more than 1000 hours of work into the car, have raced it on both the drag strip and road course at Palm Beach International Raceway, ran the Tail of the Dragon with it, and have driven it from Miami to New York City, Chicago to Atlanta. I love my PT, and have thoroughly enjoyed the experiences I've had at Lake Norman CJD. Since then I've purchased my wife an Apsen hemi, and will be returning soon for another vehicle for her. You know you enjoy your visits when you just stop by to share a cup of coffee with the team there. Add to it Jack's provided give-aways to our PT Cruiser Car Club for events and meets, which in every case were a big hit. I completely decorated my car with Lake Norman CJD items at last year's Fall Auto Fair at the Lowe's Motor Speedway, where three cases of give-away items lasted only 21 minutes before they were all gone! Anyway, I suggest to EVERYONE to buy their next car here. Great team, great people, great times and now part of my extended family!!! More

We had a good idea of the vehicle we wanted (a used Garnd Cherokee) and they just so happened to have on ethat had recently been traded in. After hearing a very competitive price, I felt it was a deal to good to walk away from. The staff was very open and honest about a mechanical code that had been detected during check-out at trade in. They agreed to fix the transmission issue that existed for a minimal amount to me. In addition, they agreed to detail the vehicle, provide new floor mats and provide lifetime washes. It was a very low pressure sales approach and this is the one major factor that won my business. Being a salesman myself, I really appreciate the low pressure approach. More

Our first purchase from Lake Norman was a trade in on a PT Cruiser. Then we traded that in for a Pacifica. When we realized we no longer needed that much space, we traded back to a PT Cruiser. Simultane PT Cruiser. Then we traded that in for a Pacifica. When we realized we no longer needed that much space, we traded back to a PT Cruiser. Simultaneously my husband bought a Dodge Ram 250 to pull our RV trailer. We bought these vehicles from the most enchanting person I know, Maggie Carrigan. Maggie is exactly the salesperson you want...genuinely friendly, knowledgeable, caring, Honest, understanding of your needs and your pocketbook, listens carefully, leaves you with a cup of coffee to discuss with your spouse as to what we thought, then returns in an appropriate timeframe to answer further questions. If you have decided that you can't buy right now, she remains friendly and is always there when you are ready to buy. NO PRESSURE EVER!!! We just love her. We are equally happy with the service department and Terry Naranch never fails to get us in for service quickly, answers questions, is friendly, caring (always ask how we are doing and remembers both of us by name). The service itself has always been very good. We have never had a complaint and they always wash my car before it is returned to me. I can't say enough about everyone at Lake Norman Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge as they have all the expertise to sell us an excellent product. Thank you for giving me this oportunity to say Thank you all.
