Service I purchased my car from Gunn and take it to them for service. They are dependable, organized, friendly, and thorough. My CRV is 7 years old but has v I purchased my car from Gunn and take it to them for service. They are dependable, organized, friendly, and thorough. My CRV is 7 years old but has very low mileage; it needed new tires, new battery, and a free multipoint check. The A/C & air filters were replaced as well as the transmission & brake fluids and the oil filter. I waited in the lounge and was offered a massage; the appointment took more than 3.5 hours but I had plenty to do during that time. When I drove out of the dealership I immediately noticed a much smoother ride and a rapid and powerful response to acceleration. It was like having a new car! More

It could have gone better. Upon making an appointment, I requested a shuttle arrangement. This request was shown in the email reminder. Why I was not informed the shuttle only run at designated times? And why is it a “one-way shuttle?” This makes no sense in anyway. I OBVIOUSLY need a ride to and from, if my vehicle is in service. I never once had this experience from other dealerships. Shuttle information should be given as descriptive as possible to those who requests these arrangements. So, we can plan accordingly. Also, upon arriving at the service lane, I was asked if I have been at this particular dealership before and I responded “no.” With this information, I obviously do not know my way around. Still, I was left outside for 5-10 mins in the heat given no instructions on where to wait. This department is definitely lacking in customer service. I will not be coming back for all the inconvenience. More

Overcharged I recently had my 2013 Honda Pilot serviced at Gunn Honda is San Antonio Tx. I requested that they service the timing belt and oil change. While inspe I recently had my 2013 Honda Pilot serviced at Gunn Honda is San Antonio Tx. I requested that they service the timing belt and oil change. While inspecting my vehicle they also recommended that I replace the front struts and the passenger side axle seal which I authorized them to do over the phone (approximately $2500 for everything). Upon completion I picked up my vehicle and noticed that they had charged me $400 in labor for the axle seal, which seemed like a lot. I brought it to my service managers attention and he said that they price labor on a grid or something but that was the correct amount for labor. That is the 2nd time I've had to replace that axle seal so I found the other receipt and was shocked to see that another dealership only charged me $138 in labor. It seemed odd to me that it was exactly $400 and that it would be so much when they already had suspension taken apart. I would definitely get multiple quotes before having any service done here. More

Poor customer service It felt like the guy helping me didn’t want to wast his time listening to me. He was rude and in a hurry. Only good before you pay I bought a certified preowned with them. I have been buying Honda for 10 years now, and they were the worst dealer I have ever seen. That were supposed to give me a second key, never did. When I visited them to get it, they did have it and told me I had to wait for 2 hours. When I asked for a loner, as I couldn’t wait two hours, I only heard “we are sorry”. Piece of advice: get everything you need before you pay. After that, you are on your own. More
