"Not what I had hoped"

I had been searching for the right vehicle for some time and had found the vehicle I was searching for that best fit my needs here. I came in an hour before close, after going back and forth in email all day. I had already submitted a finance application that morning. I had already spoke to their internet sales person several times. I had emailed back to the person who sent me the accepted notification for my finance application. I was very, very clear on what I was looking for, rates I was looking for, vehicle I wanted, etc. The Internet sales person said she would have the vehicle pulled up with my name in the window when we got there. We were 30 min late so they put the vehicle back and went on their way. Nevertheless, we got there, took a test drive and decided it was the right vehicle. The vehicle was on empty and the sales person said, nothing to worry about. That is bothersome. We get back to do the paperwork, Wasif says they can offer 5.2% Toyota financing. I had already said no to that rate via email with the person who accepted my finance application. I had also already made it clear that I was looking for 3.29-3.89%, period. Wasif said he could not authorize that and I proceeded to read the email to him that I received from his Customer Retention Manager that said they in fact, could. For a dealership that touts 1 person does it all, he was not able to. I was getting irritated and had him get a Manager, Muhammed. Muhammed came over and I explained what I had already been told, what I wanted and expected, and he replies, "she knows what she wants, just do it." As if Wasif should have done his job. No dealership that I have ever gone to has told me to find my own financier. Wasif, continually told me to pick an agency to go with. I explained, it was his job to find me the best rate, not mine. If he couldn't do that, he needed to find someone that could. Very very frustrating experience. After an hour has passed sitting there going back and forth, we finally come up with the right financing, which I still believe should have been better, it takes another 45 minutes for them to figure out the paperwork. Multiple attempts at the right numbers on the paperwork, reprinted, etc. Then, they cannot take my down payment on my Debit card because they have a policy limit. I needed a check, yet no one that I had spoken to the entire time before getting there even mentioned it, and my down payment info was included on the finance app. So now I have to come back the next day, bring a check and a voided check for the credit union financing. We got there at 8pm, an hour before close, and its now 1030 and we are still dealing with my trade in. The wheels were not going with the car so I was told by Wasif AND Muhammed to come in the next day, Sunday, to get them exchanged over. I had the original wheels that needed to be swapped out from my custom wheels. Since I now needed to bring a check in, i thought no problem, I will already be there so that works. Wasif hounds me on setting a time to come in with my check, I told him before 11. When I couldn't get there by 11, I text him per his request and let him know I was running behind. His response, "what time will you be here?". Not, I am sorry you had to come back. Not, I am sorry for this inconvenience. Nothing. I get there about 1120am to drop off the check and exchange the tires. I am then informed by Muhammed, there is NO ONE to switch out the tires at work this day. RIDICULOUS! Now, I am going to have to come back, yet again, to get my tires. They very well could have scheduled me to bring in my check on Monday, and have the tires swapped then. This place is just a nightmare. Instead, they are so unorganized and care little for service they say too bad, you will have to come back. We were at the dealership until past 11pm. 3 hours, and I had been adamant about NOT being there for three hours which is why I sent in the financing info long before and went back and forth with the internet sales folks. To top it off, after the cluster of inadequacies, they sell me a truck that is on Empty and tell me they will be "nice enough" to put 10 gallons in. How nice. 10 gallons, and I had to come back to this dealership 3 addtl times because of their mistakes. At this point they own me a full tank of gas. Now, 3rd day in a row I come back to the dealership to get my tires. I text Wasif 2 times before I came per his request and zero response. I get there and no one in service has any idea what is going on. They had to track down Wasif to find out. I gave him the lock key for the wheels since I was so pissed the day before I forgot to give it to them and told him I would be back in an hour to get my wheels and go. He said, um, well, let me call service. Then he tells me it will be a couple of hours. I told him clearly, NO, it would not. I am not coming back from Vancouver AGAIN in a couple hours. PISSED. What a way to treat customers. I ran some errands in Beaverton and came back 2 hours later giving them plenty of time. Get there, no one knows what is going on. They had put the custom wheels back in the car after replacing them, instead of having them ready for me to pick up. TERRIBLE COMMUNICATION. I had the Service Manager deal with it and while I was there thought, I will go ahead and buy my mats for the truck since the dealership thought it was a good idea to sell a 33k truck with no mats in it. I had already looked up the cost on the mats on the website and knew how much they were. While the service manager was getting the tires figured out and in my truck, i went to the parts/accessories counter and told them I wanted to buy the all weather mats for my Tundra. I knew they were $152.10. He tells me they are $189 installed, but they don't install them so they are $169. I said, No, they aren't. The price is CLEARLY marked on your website. Manoj said "oh really" what was the price? I told him it was 150 something. 152 or 159, let me look again. He said Ok, I can give you $159, I said "wait" I am checking the website while I am standing here. They are $152.10. So not only did they COST ME MONEY and time to have to come back to that dealership 3 addtl times not including my initial visit, now they are gouging their customers for not doing their due diligence and looking at the actual price before they buy. He says, ok, I will go ahead and give them to you for $152 even. Thank you for the $0.10. This was an incredibly poor experience for me. I am utterly disappointed in this dealership and the shady way things were run. Telling customers you can only get 5.2% financing from Toyota is deceitful. Charging customers magically inflated prices different from what you are clearly advertising is deceitful. Not a single apology. Nothing. I will not buy from this dealership or recommend them, again.

The service center was unusually busy the day of my appointment and I chose to take the courtesy shuttle service due to the anticipated wait time. It was a good choice as it took 4 1/2 hrs. to complete the repairs. Fully satisfied with the quality of the repairs but I had a question about the vehicle inspection sheet when I returned home and was unable to get a response on the phone. Returned the next day to buy some replacement clips and talked to Daniel Martini about my concern and got the answers I needed to make an informed decision on further repairs.

"Pleasant Purchase Experience"

Our salesperson, Liby, was informative, patient, and really made our purchase a pleasure. Liby showed us several cars, rode with us for the test drive, and walked us through the actual purchase of the car. The dealership has a nice waiting area, including a cafe where we were treated to lunch while they prepped the car. The no haggle sales approach is a refreshing way to purchase a car and we feel confident we got a competitive price. Kyle told us up front how he determines the value of our trade in and we were very happy with the trade in price. Manoj, in parts, helped me find a seat cover to go under a child safety seat that matched the interior. We had a good experience and I would recommend this dealership.
