Always a pleasure! When you think of the words "easy" "fast" or "smooth" they are not normally associated with the car buying process but when you go to Maplecrest Ford When you think of the words "easy" "fast" or "smooth" they are not normally associated with the car buying process but when you go to Maplecrest Ford and deal with Charles Countryman, that is the experience you will have. This is now the second vehicle we have purchased from Charles and it was just as we remembered. The process was quick and painless! He is honest and helpful with every aspect. He really does make the process enjoyable by allowing us as the customer to feel comfortable from start to finish. The vehicles we purchased are great trucks and I know that we will be taking that hour drive once again to purchase from Charles. Always a pleasure dealing with Charles and the rest of the staff at Maplecrest Ford. More

This is the fourteenth vehicle we have either purchased or leased from this dealership and we wouldn’t go anywhere else! The professionalism and genuine concern for their customers’ satisfaction regarding sales and service are outstanding. We are always delighted to visit with Tom Giordano, owner of Mendham Ford. We know that we will be accorded the highest degree of attention and close friendship. Our terrific salesperson, Micky Hendrick, spent many hours with us, discussing the various Ford Models we were considering. Dishonest, Rude and Unprofessional! My experience with Bill and Maplecrest Ford was terrible. Let's start with my initial contact with Marla. When reaching out to confirm whether the 201 My experience with Bill and Maplecrest Ford was terrible. Let's start with my initial contact with Marla. When reaching out to confirm whether the 2016 Ford Escape would be able to be upgraded to Apple CarPlay she confirmed in WRITING that it would be done. When working with my sales person Bill, the story changed and that was not the case. Dishonest. When dealing with Bill, he's your best friend up until you put your deposit down on the car. After that it's I'm busy or we're busy or you need to get here at "X" time other wise I have other clients blah blah blah. I live over an hour away from this dealership and they make 0 accommodations. They close at 8PM Monday - Thursday. 8:01PM. Friday it's 6PM. 5:59PM You're kicked out the door. During my whole car shopping experience with other dealerships I've had sales people and their managers work with me even an hour AFTER they closed. When negotiating with Bill, you CONSTANTLY have to follow up with him on EVERY aspect of the car. They do not budge off their prices and KBB / NADA had this car below with their asking price. Why? I don't know considering they got the car at an auction for dirt cheap. When test driving the car i noticed the tires had very little tread left. Bill said "Oh these are pretty low I can't imagine these not getting replaced through the CPO program." After the CPO "Oh they're fine." I ended up having to fight for the 2 tires to be replaced in the front. When we put the deposit down on the car, I confirmed with him saying "Hey, I better not see any extra charges on this vehicle ESPECIALLY Vin Etching." Bill's response, "Oh we don't do that here." Cool, I'm thinking this is a straight forward dealership. After Bill and I settle on a price and tires, I keep getting, we're very very very busy response to any question I asked Bill. Why does it matter that you're busy?? I'm a customer, I should receive basic customer service regardless of how "Busy" they are. Every dealership I went to was "busy" but I was never talked to like that by any of them. I specifically asked in WRITING, hey, can you add the USB Module for the Apple Car Play and the Cargo Cover to the price of the car? This cost is roughly $200 and I didn't care to negotiate as it was so cheap. When arriving at the dealership to sign the paperwork, you're met with the most rude Finance Manager. After sitting in over an hour and a half of traffic, Marie was flat out yelling at us that we were late by a half hour. Even when Bill was asking us questions, Marie flat out snapped at Bill to leave the room so we can sign this paperwork. You would think since they're so busy they do a lot of paperwork and it would be accurate? Nope. EVERY Piece of documentation was wrong and she had to reprint 3-4 times because I kept catching errors like wrong address, wrong name, wrong email etc. I have no idea how she maintains a job there. While she was reprinting the documents she was getting frustrated and started yelling anymore "Wow this has been such a long day". She tells us to sign a document that says we understand this car had Vin Etching. I said hold on, we didn't want vin etching. She said don't worry it's already included in the price. When looking at the price I noticed it was $200 higher than the asking. So I figured oh this must be the Apple Car Play module and Cargo Cover. When we got out of the awful Finance experience we met Bill and here I'm expecting the basic delivery process. NOPE! I was SHOCKED. You just get the here are your keys enjoy the car. Okay, I figured its been a long day and they're closing in 5 minutes so maybe he doesn't want to be bothered with the delivery process. So I take the keys and I ask, hey where is the Car Play module and Cargo cover. He said, "You asked for that?" I said yes and I just paid full price for it that's why the car is $200 more. He goes Marie didn't put it into the deal and that $200 is for Vin etching. I'm like what?!?!?!?! I didn't want Vin etching nor did I ask for it. His response was "well you got a good deal on the car anyway so why does it matter?" WHAT DEAL!?!? I paid ASKING PRICE! All I wanted was good service, the tires to be replaced and I was willing to put for the accessories myself! Instead they snuck in Vin etching which in 2018 NOBODY USES. NO INSURANCE COMPANY GIVES YOU A DISCOUNT BECAUSE YOU HAVE IT. ITS PURE PROFIT FOR THE DEALERSHIP! I said okay fine. You're dishonesty will earn you a negative review. Bill's response was well if you're unhappy with the deal and you're going to say that then you can just leave. I did just that didn't look back. Pathetic tactics, poor service, and lack of concern of customer requests earned this dealership their review. There are much better dealerships out there, why waste your time with this one? OH and the car was filthy from the inside. I ended up having to revacuum everything to make it look presentable. I also asked them to hold the license plates so that we can have someone screw it in for us. Guess what, they mailed it to us and had do it ourselves because they knew they acted unethically. More
