I decided to visit this dealership after having a poor experience at the downtown location last Saturday. I initially went in thinking I wanted the Tiguan but ended up falling in love with the Taos instea experience at the downtown location last Saturday. At the downtown location, they had me test drive a Taos fresh off the truck that wouldn’t go over 22 mph (limp mode, I believe). When I asked for the weekend to figure out my finances, they brought in a manager who tried to pressure me into paying a premium price. The whole interaction felt strange and turned me off completely. On Monday, I called ahead to the Evanston dealership and let them know I was coming in at 10 a.m. and hoped to drive off with a car before my 1 p.m. appointment elsewhere. They were incredibly responsive, and I truly lucked out getting to work with Mario. He was patient with all of my questions, took the time to ensure I was completely satisfied, and helped me secure the best deal for the 2025 Taos. Alex in Financing was equally amazing—he carefully explained all my options and helped me determine the best path forward. Both were mindful of my timeline and worked efficiently to get everything finalized before I had to leave. Overall, this was an outstanding, stress-free experience. Everyone I interacted with was genuine, transparent, and clearly happy to be there. The entire process was frictionless, and I left feeling confident and excited about my purchase.
