I just worked with Mario to buy out the lease on a 2019 Tiguan (easily my favorite car I've ever had) and purchase it as a VW Certified Used vehicle. He helped me lease my last two vehicles from the previo Tiguan (easily my favorite car I've ever had) and purchase it as a VW Certified Used vehicle. He helped me lease my last two vehicles from the previous dealership, and I've only had good experiences with him. I am so pleased that he stayed through the change from Autobarn to City Volkswagen of Evanston. He is straightforward, kind, and each time I've worked with him he has laid out every possible option for either buying a new car, buying out my lease, or starting with a new lease. I've never felt pressured and have always walked away confident that I picked the option that was best for me. Because the car market is so crazy now, buying out my lease ended up being a fantastic deal for me, and not much of a deal for the dealership, but Mario moved me through the buying process smoothly, quickly, and cheerfully. I also really appreciated working with Vesko in Finance who got us an interest rate a couple of points lower than we had anticipated for a used car. And finally, the Service Department at City Volkswagen of Evanston is fantastic--if you ever had problems with the old service department, come back. This new team is fast, professional, and very good at explaining services and communicating throughout the process. More

I just renewed a lease with City Volkswagen of Evanston and it was the best car buying experience I've ever had. I was able to get a fair price confirmed over phone/email and the best part is... they deliv and it was the best car buying experience I've ever had. I didn't wait hours at the dealership at any point in the process - everything took 15 minutes and my Tiguan is amazing. They were thorough and communicated well - I will be a customer again! More

If you've searched for a dealership before, you know how rare it is to see a score this high with this many reviews....they earn it, every step of the way. Mario Grbavac was our sales rep and I can't say enough good things about him and his service. I can also say that I had to use City VW of Evanston's service department recently when the battery on the vehicle I was trading in died about 5 days before our new car arrived. The service experience was flawless on all levels...can't say enough. They've earned my business now and for the foreseeable future. More
