Service department is wonderful as well. I would absolutely return and recommend based of how this handled after connecting again w Carlos. Purchased a vehicle in early Dec 2019. Mario was great to deal with as I was extremely limited on the time I could spend on this. He was very low pressure. Test drove the car, loved it. The tire pressure lights were on (it was a frigid day) - I asked about this and was told it was because it was so cold. My current vehicle would do the same thing so I didnt think twice. Picked up the car 4 days later - all tire pressure lights were still on - again it was about 10 degrees out. I was also given HALF A KEY - just the remote and told I would have to go to a dealership and get the rest of it and Bourne's would reimburse me. I already barely had time to go there, never mind another dealership for a key! I immediately called and emailed Mario within 30 minutes of leaving the dealership- about the tire pressure. Never heard back. 3 days goes by - I put air in and the lights went out but came back on. I call AGAIN. No response. I call a true Kia Dealership about the key and am told it will be almost $400 between labor and parts. So I reach out to Carlos the manager - he says let me call you back in 15 minutes. 3 hours goes by before he calls. I explain the situation - he says bring the car in to have the tires looked at (more of my time) and let him look into the key situation. I explain I cant get into the glove compartment and I need the Manual. The following Saturday I spend an hour at service having them check the tires. They fully inflated and checked and no issues. The Service people were GREAT. Lights haven't come back on since - so they truly just needed air - I guess I am shocked the dealership would release the car to me and not put air in the tires to get the warning lights off! Anyway, Carlos gets back to a few hours later about the key and said you don’t need the whole remote, just the key part. I said I explained that to the dealer and they insisted it would be almost 400 because it was a service appointment. But again - WHY AM I DEALING W THIS???? Long story short - he orders the key for me and said he will let me know when it comes in. Few days later he calls and said its in and asks if I want him to mail to me. I said yes please- TWO + weeks go by - no key. Now I can't get into the glove compartment of the vehicle bc it is locked which was one of the reasons I told him I needed the key asap. Finally after over two weeks I reach out - "whats going on, the key hasn’t come yet". He responds telling me I will have it within the next 4 days.(almost three weeks to arrive by mail from the other side of town???). The key finally arrives(now almost a month after I purchased the vehicle) and IT DOESNT OPEN THE GLOVE COMPARTMENT. I reach out and ask about this as I am assuming the owner’s manual is in there and I need to reprogram the back hatch bc it doesnt open all the way - "let me consult my service department on this and get back to you" - That was almost 3 weeks ago. I have not heard back from him. So while I love the vehicle, and Mario was pleasant to deal with (he was actually out sick when I was leaving messages about the tires and I didnt realize that), I am not thrilled w the lack of follow through or making things right on the part of management (Carlos). Not happy at all and would have to think twice about returning or recommending. More
