I am very disappointed in the way Mercedes of Richmond has responded to my quest to talk about an issue we had with the service department and the General Manager. I finally started getting communication has responded to my quest to talk about an issue we had with the service department and the General Manager. I finally started getting communications after contacting Murgado Automotive Group, CEO Mario Murgado, the new owner of the dealership. My wife and I understand business and understand the requirement of a business needing to charge for work done during diagnostic testing, to be able to remain in business. I believe charging $235 for “Perf testing with DAS found R/R TPMS sensor is faulty…” It is my belief that $235 is not a fair price for the work that was completed. I recommend not doing business with Mercedes of Richmond. If one decides to have a vehicle serviced at Mercedes of Richmond, before having repair work done ask the cost of diagnostic testing. Also please review Virginia Automobile Repair Facilities Act § 59.1-207.1 to understand your rights. More
