Enjoying my new forester I worked with Mark Berger in selecting and customizing my new Subaru Forester; he has been extremely helpful throughout the entire process, while not I worked with Mark Berger in selecting and customizing my new Subaru Forester; he has been extremely helpful throughout the entire process, while not being too pushy like some car salespeople are. The car is great, and I would highly recommend Flatirons Subaru as well as Mark. Also a shout out to Ian Mangan for his paperwork assistance. More

Easy purchase even during pandemic In late May of 2020, I shopped online at several Denver-area dealers and got a good price in writing, in advance, on the exact 2020 Outback I was look In late May of 2020, I shopped online at several Denver-area dealers and got a good price in writing, in advance, on the exact 2020 Outback I was looking for, at Flatirons Subaru from Mark Berger. Mark is very easy to communicate with before the sale (text/email) and during the transaction at the dealership. Upon arrival at the dealership the car I'd put a deposit on over the phone was awaiting out front. This was during the coronavirus pandemic; Mark was wearing a mask as were other employees I saw, which was much appreciated. Mark invited me inside to start the paperwork; I instead requested he bring the paperwork to me outside given the pandemic. I did not need financing so that simplified things. This request I made was granted and we finished up with appropriate social distancing after I took a short solo test drive. I never went in the building. I was in and out with the new car in a little over 2 hours, including time for the car to be washed and whatever else they do back in the shop before handing over to the customer. I gave the steering wheel and controls a wipe with disinfectant towels I'd brought with me. I did not need a full sales pitch as I'd done my research online, so this experience was nearly perfect for me. The only negatives at this dealership were as follows: There's a $599. "processing/doc fee" added to their lowest price. This is however explained up front. If you ask for a price match, they may do it but will add the dealer fee. Because of issues at another dealer I won't get into here, I accepted this extra cost. Also I was told (again, upfront) I could not escape getting a car with protective film on the front end, door handles, etc. They do this to all their cars at Flatirons (apparently). This was an extra $349. It may be a useful feature, but it added to the overall cost of the car and seems overpriced for the product delivered. Finally there is a fairly obnoxious "Flatirons Subaru" sticker-logo applied to the back window of the Outback. I didn't complain about it at the dealer but it's not something I wanted on my new car. As I suspected, it was easily removed with fingernails and some Windex after I got home, as it had been recently applied. Overall I would consider buying here again, there were no "games" here except for the items I've mentioned which were disclosed beforehand. More
