Disappointed that the car sales industry really hasn't changed in 50 years. Get assaulted by hovering sales people the minute you drive up. Fast talking, not concerned about getting details right because they can always apologize later and the customer is stuck with the falsehoods. In our case the salesperson promised we would get 3.99% financing, then Mark the GM walked it back, sternly saying to us, I told you you're not getting that. I reminded him that their salesperson represents them, still no change in attitude or tone. Simply ruthless. Smiling to get you in, then the tone changes and everything you ask for is "NO!" Disgraceful. I have never run my business that way, never will. I know this review will not see the light of day, and Mark Smalls will just laugh it off, "just an unhappy customer, you get them every once in a while." What happened to "the customer is always right?" Dealers know that customers get swooned by the shiny car they covet, and MOST will look right past the details and end up paying more than they should or not getting all they paid for. Once the deal is done, the customer is merely a number. Shameful. I had really hoped that dealers would by now turn a new leaf, become more TRUTHFUL and more INTERESTED and COMPASSIONATE with their customers. Value them, not abuse them like a commodity. I still want a concession for the interest rate offer they gave me then pulled it. Call me to discuss. I think that is only fair. I asked to speak with the GM (turns out to be Juan Roman) but Mark said he was in charge. Liar. More
