Pushy, poor trade offers, insulting staff! Went into Schofield Hyundai West today, looking for a new car. Salesman Matt Watson made sure they had the vehicle I was interested in on the lot, bro Went into Schofield Hyundai West today, looking for a new car. Salesman Matt Watson made sure they had the vehicle I was interested in on the lot, brought it up and then began to "value" my trade-in. After more than an hour, yes you read that correctly, more than an hour AND I was the only customer in the dealership, JUST ME... Matt finally came back with an "offer" on my trade. An offer so low it was downright insulting. Simply rude! I bought this vehicle from them brand new less than two years ago, it's in great condition, less than 26,000 miles, all the service is done with them, yes everything, and they offered about $8,000 less than blue book/NADA value for the car. I immediately stopped the deal at that very moment. I haven't even driven the vehicle I was interested in purchasing, only sat in it and Matt was PUSHING me to sign on the line! I know that Schofield Hyundai West is a business and the purpose of a business is to make money, but they aren't going to make their entire quota off of me.Especially when I haven't even driven the new 2017 that I was interested in purchasing. Not going to happen. Matt was really pushy and not helpful. Totally wasted my time coming to Schofield Hyundai West. I'm really disappointed in them and also really frustrated that I've sent members of my family as well as friends to buy from them.... I've learned my lesson the hard way! BUYER BEWARE! More

Hidden cost In order to qualify for a discount I was told that I could use their financing service. My original intention was to pay off the car at the time of pu In order to qualify for a discount I was told that I could use their financing service. My original intention was to pay off the car at the time of purchase. But, as I was told, there was no penalty for paying off the car early. So I financed the car intending to pay it off in just a few days. As it turns out, I will have to pay about $170 for the first months interest regardless. Sure feels like a penalty or hidden cost to me. Be sure you find out be for you decide to finance!!! More

Four years earlier I had purchased a 2008 Honda Civic from Scholfield West....loved the car and the service and treatment from the salesman and staff. Matt watson did an awesome job on getting us the car we wanted with extras we requested and within our budget. Since I am a truck driver and not home often he wa did an awesome job on getting us the car we wanted with extras we requested and within our budget. Since I am a truck driver and not home often he was able to take care details over the phone and that was not easy. After our purchase he is still there for us answering anything that we need. He even came in on his day off when i made it back to town to seal the deal. That was service above and beyond! This is my 2nd car purchase from schofield. Thanks matt!! More
