Long Distance Friendship Built In searching for the best car for my next vehicle purchase I was introduced to Prestige Volvo by way of Cars.com and found actually several possibilit In searching for the best car for my next vehicle purchase I was introduced to Prestige Volvo by way of Cars.com and found actually several possibilities at Prestige based on price and options. Deborah helped me review their inventory to find the best match with regards to model, color and vehicle options. It turned out they had the exact color XC60 that I had been searching for with little luck elsewhere and at a substantial savings compared to similar vehicles in my area of the country - the Midwest (OHIO). Deborah made a custom video walking me through each of the areas of the vehicle I needed to see in order to make a buying decision and all in an extremely tight timeframe as I was quickly headed toward an east coast meeting that would facilitate picking the purchase up in route to that scheduled event. I could not be more pleased with the attention I received in helping me make this purchase from such a great distance. I would highly recommend engaging Prestige Volvo in any search that you might have for a new or used Volvo. I left the dealership not only excited about my new car, but also educated on the ability to use all of the features that are inherent with the XC60 - receiving phone calls from friends and family just minutes from leaving the dealership all with the touch of a button on the steering wheel. When I arrived home I knew how to review the trip data stored and analyzed by the car, receive and send calls and access a myriad of other features I would have normally relied on a lengthly owners manual read to do. Like family, only better I've been associated with Prestige Volvo since I bought my first Volvo from them in 2006. Since then I have relied on Prestige Volvo to diagnose, repair and care for my Volvo like it was their own car. I always appreciate the interest and care Prestige Volvo shows me, not only with my car but my life as an author. I've often said that the fine folks at Prestige Volvo know me better than most! But the crux of the relationship was tested recently when I brought my car in for service. The long and the short was the car was unable to be repaired due to something that I caused. I met with both Matthew Haiken (the dealership owner) and Pat Masone (the Business Manager) and instead of telling me what they could not do for me, they helped me to find the right Volvo, at the right price. The most important thing that I must stress is the can do attitude of both Pat and Matthew, with the salesman Todd- who made my experience a cohesive one. They said yes, when most would have said no. Best car buying experience I had a negative experience at my local Volvo dealership in Monmouth county, NJ so after looking at inventory online I drove an hour and a half north I had a negative experience at my local Volvo dealership in Monmouth county, NJ so after looking at inventory online I drove an hour and a half north to do business with Prestige Volvo, and I am so happy I did. This was by far the easiest and most pleasant experience I have ever had at a car dealership. The staff is friendly and knowledgable and there was no need for negotiations as the pricing is already good. Each staff member took time with me and my dad like we were the only customers there. I moved out of the state after this purchase and Matthew has gone out of his way to mail my plates and registration to me. I highly recommend going to Prestige Volvo, even if it's out of the way, it's worth it! More

Fraudulent / Dishonest / Unprofessional I purchased a used, 2006 Volvo S40 from this establishment on 3/21/15 and experienced a multitude of service and integrity issues which are listed bel I purchased a used, 2006 Volvo S40 from this establishment on 3/21/15 and experienced a multitude of service and integrity issues which are listed below: 1. Vehicle was fraudulently listed as having 52k miles. After purchasing the vehicle, I recognized that it actually had 57k miles (a difference of 10%). Kelley Blue Book values the difference at $250. The dealership refused to compensate me for this difference. When I called them about this I was told “It must have been a typo”…how convenient 2. Vehicle only came with one key (as opposed to the typically two keys, especially considering that it was purchased from a Volvo dealership). This was not revealed to me until after I signed the paperwork to purchase the vehicle. The manager of the store committed to sending us a 2nd key which never occurred, nor would he respond to my follow-up. When I called about this I was told “You can’t expect two keys with a car that is 10 years old”…Really? 3. The dealership was supposed to send us our license plate and registration within 15 days which is when the temp tags expired. We did not receive the plate and registration for more than 3 weeks so I was unable to legally drive the car. After multiple inquiries about the missing tags went unanswered, they finally committed to sending me an extension letter, however that never happened. When the tags were finally delivered it was delivered to the wrong address (even though they specifically told me that they would call to confirm the delivery address prior to sending). 4. The owner’s manual was missing which I did not discover until several weeks after the vehicle purchase. The sleeve for the manual was in the glove compartment, but it was filled with other documents in a deceptive manner. 5. Upon receiving letters from various financing companies after purchasing the vehicle, I learned that several financing options were withheld from me. I specifically stated that I wanted to consider a longer-term financing option and was told that 5 years was the longest that any of the lenders would agree to. However, I received an approval letter several weeks later from a lender which offered a 6.5 year term. The only logical explanation for this is a lower kick-back from this lender…Why else would the offer not have been at least presented to me…Totally unprofessional!...When I called about this I was told that “it must not have been a good offer”…That is a decision that is up to me to make; not them More
