The "Wash and Detail" of the car left quite a bit to be desired. The body was clean, of course, just as it was when I looked at it two days earlier, and the interior was for all intents, "clean". But, the DETAIL of the interior was never touched. The windows were still "cloudy" form the sticker locations, though those had been removed. The dirt had never been addressed on the steering wheel controls or the dash at the radio and heat controls or that "crusted" on the control bezels. From my unprofessional position, the DETAIL was never done at all. If it was, then that individual needs to be "available to industry" and a suitabloe replacement found. HE will ultimately represent your product and if HE doesn't do well then YOU don't do well, ... as in this review. More

Terrible Customer Experience I began my cat buying experience with Newins Ford in regards to a slightly used 2019 Ford F150. Dealing with Carmine Randello initially was pleasant. I began my cat buying experience with Newins Ford in regards to a slightly used 2019 Ford F150. Dealing with Carmine Randello initially was pleasant. He is a nice guy and personable. Once we began the price of the car discussion, he brought in Matt Stickney. Matt is a knowledgeable guy but I felt his connection to people is not there. To him I was just another potential wallet he will do his best to open. When I say this dealership has tactics that are unethical and borderline illegal, it is an understatement. They say their not pushy will sales, but before I even agreed on any price Matt had the bill of sale written up already. This is considered maintaining pressure to get the customer to sign. NOT GOOD! Then Matt said in order to run my credit, I Need to put down a $200 deposit. A deposit just to run credit? I have purchased many cars over the years. I have NEVER been asked that before. Again, a sales tactic. A customer is more likely to go through with the deal when they've put down a deposit. Then the lies came. Matt told me the car came from a customer who was leasing the car and wanted to go into a F250. Matt said he bought out the lease and put the guy into a F250. LIE! The car was originally from Ohio. When Ford reps travel the country to promote Ford they are given company cars. They usually use the cars for a year and then cars are then sold on "Dealer Exclusive Auctions" usually run by Ford. This was one of those trucks. How did I find this out? A little research and CarFax. Did Newins Ford run the Carfax/AutoCheck for me? NO! Carmine said he would and never did. His excuse was there was a problem with running the Autocheck, but never game me a reason. I had to pay for my own. The truck was advertised with 10,000 miles on their website. It actually had 12,300 miles. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT! I asked Bob Belonzi (Manager), he said, and I quote "Oh, I used it, sorry" and laughed. I was shocked that the manager of the dealership would even talk this way to a customer. NOTHING was done to make good on that false mileage advertisement. I had told Matt I wanted to put a total of $20,000 down including my trade-in. He interpreted that as $20,000 down cash plus my trade-in. I was having trouble understanding and Matt became frustrated and insulted me by saying "C'mon, I thought you were in Finance". It is the Salesman job to make sure everything is clear and the customer understands. Now I had the unfortunate opportunity to work with Joe Corcione (Finance). The way Joe operates is unethical and I can't believe he is allowed to do the tactics he did. Before I sat with him, I did my homework and ran my own credit, and got quotes from banks and credit unions. I have TOP credit (over 830) and I was getting quotes around 3.29% interest rates. When Joe sat with me he said the rate would be 4.75%. I was shocked. I told him what I was getting when I called the banks, he didn't care. His response was "You can go to that bank" This was the rate he said. Then his next offer was unbelievable. He said If I buy his extended warranty, he will drop the rate to 3.75%. WHAT? Can you be believe that? He basically admitted to gouging the rate so I would buy his extended warranty. I could not believe this was happening. He is preying on the people who need financing and are not prepared with a loan option of their own from an outside bank. As I Mentioned before, I have never experience this with all my previous care purchase over the years. When I mentioned Joe's tactics to Bob the manager, he said "Aren't all the finance managers that way?" and laughed. Unbelievable! As a result, I will NEVER step foot in that dealership again. I told them the only reason I purchased a truck there is because they had the exact truck I wanted. When I picked the truck up, no one showed me any features of the truck. NOTHING! I am a sales manager part of a very large company. I will tell you it is ALL ABOUT THE CLIENT EXERIENCE! I will never refer anyone to Newins Ford. If they new anything about sales, they would realize it's equally important the customer in front of you as is the referral they can give. This dealership needs an overhaul from the Top down. How can they allow these tactics. I will be writing to the Better Business Bureau and to Ford Motor Company. Ford needs to know how their products are being represented. Thank you. More
