Nine cars and counting Great people to deal with. I have purchased my last 3 cars from them in the last 9 years; will probably buy my next one from them. Terrible Dealership I went to Paul Miller to look at certified used civics. They had several cars that fit what I was looking for (mileage, budget, year). Eric was very helpful and honest throughout the entire process. And they even let me haggle down to an even better deal! The atmosphere was nice and I never felt highly pressured like you do with some dealers. Alejandro was my finance consultant and he was very friendly and easy to work with. Let's just say that this dealership was EXACTLY the type who changed the second my money was in their hands. Alejandro sold me the additional warranties (HondaCare, Tire Protection and Gap) and said the cost for all three would be 1200$. After purchasing the car, and setting up my online payment system, the system informed me that they had in fact charged me 2200$ for the warranties. I called the dealer to return these warranties, and Alejandro informed me that I would have to do it on my own through the warranty companies. I called all three companies who informed me that they NEVER do business directly with car buyers and that they did not even have me in their systems as having purchased their warranties. I went down to Paul Miller and not one of the employees knew how to correctly return the warranties. I waited for 1.5 hours before they finally got all of the paperwork, signed it and left. A week later, I was contacted by Paul Miller and informed that they filled out the paperwork wrong and they'd need me to drive back to redo it (I live 1.5 hours away). It has been 6 months since I purchased the car, I have contacted manager John Renteria and Alejandro Estremera by email and phone numerous times and I still have not been fully refunded for the warranties. Everytime I speak to them, they are unhelpful, uninformed, unprofessional and tell me that it is "already taken care of" and that the warranties are cancelled. Sometimes they just don't even respond. That's great that the warranties were cancelled, however I never received a refund. As if this wasn't bad enough, I took the car down to get a state inspection 8 weeks after my purchase of a supposedly "CERTIFIED" used car. I had to pay 250$ to get the brake pads replaced after driving for 8 weeks, and only 3,000 miles. I brought my inspection checklist and vehicle into several different mechanics and every single one told me that based on the current status of my pads, there is no way the pad width listed on the checklist was correct. I contacted Paul Miller, and was basically told it was not their problem. Paul Miller Honda was the worst mistake I made for buying a car. The employees are clueless, the manager is no help in keeping them in line and they are liars. I wouldn't buy an air freshener from this dealer. I will be contacting the better business bureau, as well as Honda corporate, so shop somewhere else and save yourself the headache. More

Dennis Brugger and Melvin Duran teamed up to make me a deal I couldn't refuse...or counter for that matter. Paul Miller Honda's pricing/offers were the best in the area (verified by another local Honda de deal I couldn't refuse...or counter for that matter. Paul Miller Honda's pricing/offers were the best in the area (verified by another local Honda dealer!). Everytime I was asked if "the numbers" sounded "ok" I responded with, "You're not going to get an argument from me!". When walking into any dealership I'm always prepared for the worst. The sales personnel at Paul Miller Honda have restored my faith in the car buying/leasing experience. I also noticed, during my time in the showroom, my experience with Dennis and Melvin were not the exception but the rule. The culture at Paul Miller Honda seems to be one of true customer satisfaction. My family and I could not get over the fact that we felt better on the way out than we did on the way in. Now that's a "neat trick" for any dealership. Thank you Paul Miller Honda! More

My experience with Melvin Duran at Paul Miller Honda was outstanding. The professionalism expressed by Melvin has restored my confidence that shopping and purchasing a vehicle does not have to be a pressur outstanding. Melvin made me feel comfortable and relaxed, and I would recommend Melvin without hesitation to anyone looking to purchase or lease a vehicle. The most important trait that I witnessed and appreciated from Melvin was his integrity. Integrity is often an oxymoron when it comes to salespeople in the auto business, yet Melvin possesses this trait naturally by always being up front and honest. Thank you Melvin! More

We got a 2012 honda odessy, our sales rep was melvin. This was one of our best car purchasing experince. Melvin wasnt your typical car sale person, price was fair, none of the typical dealer taactics. This was one of our best car purchasing experince. Melvin was excellent with his follow ups on plates, after purchase making sure that we understood all the features of the car. We drove 35 minutes out of our way skipping all our local dealer based on dealer ratings and it was worth it.. If you are looking to purchase a honda, this dealer is highly recommended More

When we first entered the dealership of Paul Miller Honda of West Caldwell we were greeted by one of the salesmen, namely Melvin Duran. His kindness, knowledge and respect were more than we could have wishe of West Caldwell we were greeted by one of the salesmen, namely Melvin Duran. His kindness, knowledge and respect were more than we could have wished for and he took the time to go over every aspect of our lease until we fully understood every detail. Being two senior citizens and having asked the questions over and over again Melvin was patient and understanding with us and there was never a minute of feeling pressured in anyway in making our decision. He made sure that our choices were what we wanted and he wanted the best for us in making us happy and rest assured he did just that. He is honest and trustworthy and was a blessing to us. Everyone we met who worked at the dealership was pleasant, friendly and accommodating in every way and we recommend Paul Miller Honda of West Caldwell.
