My second experience was average I purchased my first vehicle from Galpin Honda in 2015 and was blown away by the efficiency and customer service they provided. They also gave me a fantastic price, which made it all the better. With two phone calls to process everything and a home delivery, I had the most wonderful experience buying a vehicle. It was simple and did not take time out of my life. I was so impressed that I referred a great many people to the dealership. My experience the second time around in 2018 was completely painful. It was difficult to connect with a salesperson, but once I did it I got a good price. There was a little hassle with trading in a car, but we worked that out quickly. The actual purchase of the car was where everything took a turn for the worse. Simple communication could have avoided such a terrible experience. Apparently, the dealership had a computer system outage over the weekend, so what should have taken less than an hour ended up taking many hours. It was a comedy of errors. I had called to arrange to pick up the car and sign the paperwork. Price already agreed upon, and a transaction with my trade-in, plus the rest in cash. That should not have taken much time at all. All the sales associate needed to do was tell me that they were super-crazy backed up and I would have come the next day. It was a cluster and a total waste of my time. That said, I still purchased the car, which they kindly delivered. I love the car, but I want the hours of my life back. More

After checking out and testing driving the car during my first visit to the dealership, I waited a week or so before returning to Galpin to purchase the car. During that time, Micael followed up with me just the right amount and never made me feel pressured to speed up the process. He also did everything he could to make sure I got a great deal. When I went in to fill out the paperwork, the process took a total of 4 hours on a busy day, but Micael assisted every step of the way and made it as painless as possible. He also gave me and my two kids complimentary drinks. Even though I still had another car on my mind, Micael was still patient with me. After choosing the specific car I was looking at, Micael helped with demonstrating sweet features such as the Adaptive Cruise Control and Apple CarPlay.
