Although I was not initially shopping for another Volvo (because I already had one and like change) I decided to replace our totaled car with another Volvo from Steingold. Safety matters, especially with young, less experienced drivers. Everyone knows Volvo’s are one of the safest cars on the road. The thought of going through the car buying process again was something I was not looking forward to. One visit to another dealership confirmed what I already knew (and had already experienced first hand). Steingold is the easiest place to do business with and most professional car buying experience I have ever had. No BS. No games. Honest folks who pride themselves in old school customer satisfaction. You deal directly with the owners! No sales manger. No backroom deals. No ‘let me check’ while you wait around all afternoon. Straight answers and upfront, honest communication. Work with Brian, Michael or Steve. Buying a preowned car I asked for a few comestic things to be addressed. No problem. Everything was done beyond satisfaction. This was probably one of their least expensive cars on their lot. Didn’t matter, they treated me like I was buying the most expensive car in their inventory. I have purchased over 20 cars in last 35 years of all makes and models (Audi, Acura, BMW, Dodge, Ford, Infiniti, Honda, Lexus, Nissan, Toyota, VW, Volvo) from small dealerships to large auto groups. Stephanie thoroughly went over the features of my vehicle without any time limit. Truly appreciated that. I had a Volvo then bought a Toyota once my Volvo ran its course with over 239,000 miles. In this instance, Brian Mchale, Product Service Manager took care of this sale in a thoroughly professional and cordial fashion. A day later, I discovered that I had lost my pocket calendar, which contained a year's worth of appointments and other important information. I called Brian to request that he look around in case I had lost it at the dealership. He found nothing on his initial search, but discovered it two days later in the service department, where it had been turned in by another customer who had found it in the waiting room. He called me immediately, and has mailed it to me. This saved me much effort in reconstructing my schedule for the next several months. A small thing, but it showed care for the customer. More
