Letter of Thanks I brought my 2014 Jeep Cherokee in for an annual inspection yesterday, and am now writing to simply say thanks to Service Advisers Mike Casey and Step I brought my 2014 Jeep Cherokee in for an annual inspection yesterday, and am now writing to simply say thanks to Service Advisers Mike Casey and Stephen Petrowski. Mike registered me in and answered all the questions I had regarding what the inspection covered. Stephen Petrowski closed me out and he also took the time to explain items that I should give my immediate attention. "Rear brakes in the not to distant future" and that I should seriously consider replacing the tires in the "immediate time frame". By the time I had finished a hot cup of the hospitality coffee and toasted bagel, I was back on the road again. Thanks again to you both. You are both are a credit to the East Hills dealership. (Spoke with Jon Piansky before my visit. He also is always a pleasure to converse with. Kudos all around.) More

2015 Town & Country Transmission Saga I lease a 2015 Town & Country. On October 23 I heard a whining sound cok’ing from the engine. I took it to my mechanic and he said this sounds like a I lease a 2015 Town & Country. On October 23 I heard a whining sound cok’ing from the engine. I took it to my mechanic and he said this sounds like a transmission problem take it to a dealership. So I called the dealershiip I leased it from and they told me they couldn’t take the van for 4 weeks. I called another local dealership and was on hold for 7 minutes. Out of frustration I called Chrysler Customer Service 800#. They connected me to the dealership near my house. Earliest appointment was November 8. I dutifully dropped my van off that day and spent the next 7 days waiting for a diagnostic to be done. The result was a $5000.00 estimate of work needed to be done and my original problem of transmission was not significant. The next day I picked my van up and was unable to get it into gear unless I gunned the engine and then it would click into drive for a brief bit of time. Fortunately I don’t live far and was able to coast most of the way home. A 1/4 of a mile from home my husband came and towed me the rest of the way. Next day I called Chrysler Customer Service again and explained what happened. They immediately contacted Roadside assistance and had my van taken to East Hills Chrysler. It was a bumpy start there, but I’ve had several years of experience with the service department there so I was not surprised. What was a bigger surprise was the Service Manager who took on my van, Michael Casey. The first phone conversation with him made me feel comfortable. He understood what had happened and how upset I was with the condition of my van. He was in touch with me on a regular basis, explaining every step of the way what was going on with the work and the results of each step taken. When the diagnosis was completed on my van it was determined my transmission was no good. It was a 5 week period of time and I know he was frustrated with the delay of Transmission shipment because he knew I needed my vehicle for work. Fortunately I was able to borrow a family member’s car during the bulk of the time but when that goodwill ran out Michael had a courtesy van ready for me immediately. I have my van back and I’m very happy. I’m even more happy about my overall experience with East Hills Chrysler Service because of Michael Casey. He was incredibly professional, kept communicating through the entire process and made sure that all the work was covered under the Powertrance warranty. This was a wonderful surprise because the other dealership informed me that nothing on their diagnostic list would be covered under warranty. This experience with East Hills Chrysler has made me rethink about returning there for another vehicle in the future as well as the service dept. Kudos to Michael Casey! More

Poor customer support and service My car has been in for service multiple times over the past 1 1/2 years for the same problem. At times it just wont start. They keep the car for a mon My car has been in for service multiple times over the past 1 1/2 years for the same problem. At times it just wont start. They keep the car for a month each time and still not fixed. This summer they rebuilt the top part of the engine because they heard a ticking noise (not addressing the original complaint). I reluctantly took the car back and the next day the engine threw a spark plug. The car went back - this time they refused to give me a loaner car (part of my purchase agreement). It was written in as a misfire and got authorization from Chrysler to replace the engine under the lifetime power train warranty. A month later I got the car back with no air conditioning, no rear heat and the same non-start problem. Two months after the engine work, the shift linkage came off on a major road. I was able to connect it by hand indicating it was not connected properly after the work. Now the van is back because it wouldn't start. It was towed in on Monday and 2 days later they still haven't looked at the car. I have left messages for the owner of the dealership (Oliver) and he won't even return my calls. Kevin the service writer is always polite and says the right things but is not getting any support to help the customer. Still no loaner cars for me.....They change the rule as they see fit. Not sure when I will get my car back. More

A Winning Team at East Hills Dodge Ever since I purchased my vehicle at East Hills Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram May of 2012, I’ve trusted my vehicle exclusively to them. While getting some m Ever since I purchased my vehicle at East Hills Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram May of 2012, I’ve trusted my vehicle exclusively to them. While getting some maintenance upgrades and basic repairs done, I had the assistance of the incomparable Michael Casey on the last 3 occasions and the assistance of Stephen Petrowski on a week where Michael was on vacation. The level of help, communication among the team and with myself is top noch and the palpable spirit of customer service and excellence throughout was second to none. My vehicle (besides needing service), requiered parts to be ordered and was notified why, when they would arrive and called to make appointments when they did arrive by Jon Piansky, the Service Manager. Service was always done in a timely manner and the handling of my car was done with the utmost care. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my car except the dealer that sold it to me, and that’s something you don’t hear everyday. Thank you East Hills Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram! More

Love my lift! First and foremost MAJOR thanks and credit to Mike Casey! Brought my 2013 Rubicon JKU in for an unusually rough ride (yes even for a Rubicon lol), I First and foremost MAJOR thanks and credit to Mike Casey! Brought my 2013 Rubicon JKU in for an unusually rough ride (yes even for a Rubicon lol), I asked him about lifting it, went over some options together, he did some research and we decided on the 2.5 AEV lift. All of the original concerns were fixed, including they found another potential problem and took care of all that under my warranty. East hills installed my lift for a reasonable price and did a great job. This dealership is meticulous with quality and customer care, all done with a smile! I've been dealing with them now through 2 wranglers for almost 2 years and won't go anywhere else! I LOVE my lift! The ride is amazing and I couldn't be happier. Mike always goes above and beyond. He came in on his day off to be there when I picked it up to make sure all was well and I was happy. That's dedication! Thank you so much for never letting me down with the best customer service and a quality job! Let's not forget the mechanic who slaved away on my Jeep... Kudos to you and job well done!!!! More

Just leased a lemon Sahara Wrangler 600 miles car not usable In August 2018 I returned my previous lease Sahara Wrangler, and leased a new 2018 Sahara Wrangler after Ed the manager shared its new improvements. In August 2018 I returned my previous lease Sahara Wrangler, and leased a new 2018 Sahara Wrangler after Ed the manager shared its new improvements. Upon receipt of my Wrangler at 600 miles the car traveling at 50 miles per hour suddenly started bucking and dropped abruptly to 10 miles per hour then shot back to 40 miles per hour finally sticking at 10 miles per hour continously bucking until I could get to a safe spot to call road side assistance. East Hills Jeep had the car for a week returned it to me and said " Most likely some wires loose as this can happen to new cars in transport to dealerships". I trusted they did their due diligence, At around 1600 miles on a busy road doing 45 miles per hour the same issue happened, however this time i was almost rear ended as the car abruptly dropped to 20 miles per hour, only within seconds to rev back to 45 miles per hour. Car towed, Mike the service manager extremely sympathetic states its the same code as at 600 miles ,shares when he took it out for ride it happened to him 2 times, thus 4 times within 6 weeks the same issue same code yet unable as they shared to fix. Response to us they needed to call corporate. Corporate shares this has never happened before,that was over a week ago, No action from East Hills Jeep. No call from Ed the manager or the owner of East Hills who is very visible there greeting new clients. Noteworthy, we have 4 jeeps currently leased with this dealership under the old owner and team and never had any issues with attentiveness to service with the cars. I believe how you treat and handle problems concerning your products after the sale is paramount to the core of a company's true mission of excellence. For now, continue to pass East Hills Jeep and find another Jeep dealership, unless you want to stop for a cup of LEMONADE. More

Marc Siegel, Service Advisor As I arrived for my Saturday oil change for my Grand Cherokee Jeep, I was greeted with a handshake and welcoming conversation by the Service Advisor, As I arrived for my Saturday oil change for my Grand Cherokee Jeep, I was greeted with a handshake and welcoming conversation by the Service Advisor, Marc Siegel. We discussed the maintenance needs of the Jeep. Marc did an assessment, developed a course of action, and passed on a summation of what was to take place. Marc and his service team delivered outstanding technical expertise in maintaining my Jeep. I am always grateful for the attention to detail characteristic and superb work ethic of Marc Siegel and his service team. Thank you. More
