I would rate the service at this dealership better except for the follow-through on the problems I've reported with this car. I'm pretty forgiving when the people at a business are so nice and knowledgeable for the follow-through on the problems I've reported with this car. I'm pretty forgiving when the people at a business are so nice and knowledgeable. However, the two times I've had my new-to-me car in for servicing, they have not taken care of my problems. The first time was for needing new wiper blades (shouldn't they have been replaced when I bought the car with a full warranty?). I specifically stated both front and back wipers. Yet when I went to drive the car away, I realized the back wipers hadn't been replaced. I had to go back, wait on my service guy to be available and to point out he'd forgotten the rear blades. OK. Not that big a deal, but then the second time I took the car in for oil change and checkup.... I told the service rep (the second time I've brought it up) that my key fob isn't working properly, mainly not responding well. He changed the battery in it and told me he'd checked it out and it was now doing great. I drove directly to a grocery store, got out of my car and locked the door with the inside switch. As soon as I stepped outside and closed the door, the car alerted me. Now the ONLY way I can lock my car is by waiting until I'm outside the car and using the key fob. I haven't for 20+ years had to pull my key fob out and carry it around in my hand to lock/unlock my car, so this is driving me crazy. And why wouldn't he have noticed this malfunction with the inside lock if he'd thoroughly checked out the entire locking system? Because I live 45 minutes away from the dealership, not getting things fixed after telling the representatives why I'm there is very frustrating. And I will definitely cut people some slack (like the first guy with the wiper blades). But this seems like a pattern...... More
