I purchased both of my Mazdas from Ocean Mazda Doral and have been dealing with and recommending Ocean Mazda to others for over 10 years. Until this current visit, I have been very happy with both the dealership and the service I have received. Unfortunately, my experience this time has been very different. My Service Advisor, Andrew Wehmeyer, has not responded to numerous calls and messages regarding my vehicle. At this point, I am going to have to personally come into the dealership today simply to find out what is going on with my car. What is most disappointing is the significant decline in communication. During my previous service visits, the team was very communicative and kept me informed. That level of service was one of the reasons I continued to have confidence in Ocean Mazda Doral and have recommended the dealership to others for so many years. I completely understand that service departments get busy and that repairs can take longer than anticipated. My concern is not necessarily the amount of time involved—it is the lack of communication. After numerous attempts to get an update, I should not have to physically come to the dealership just to find out the status of my vehicle. As a long-standing customer who has supported Ocean Mazda for more than a decade and purchased two vehicles from Ocean Mazda Doral, this experience is particularly disappointing. The level of service and communication has slipped drastically since my last visit. I have always been comfortable recommending Ocean Mazda based on my own experience. Unfortunately, if this is the level of service and communication I can now expect, I will have to rethink both where I have my vehicles serviced and whether I can continue recommending Ocean Mazda to others. As my INFINITI lease Garcia, I wanted to personally bring to your attention a disappointing experience I recently had at Ocean INFINITI Doral. As my INFINITI lease came to an end, I gave your dealership the opportunity to keep me as a customer. Unfortunately, I received an unreasonable lease quote for a comparable vehicle, and after choosing another brand, I was informed that Ocean INFINITI Doral would not accept the return of my lease because I was not purchasing or leasing another vehicle from them. After unsuccessfully trying to resolve the matter with the dealership, I opened a formal case with INFINITI Consumer Affairs (Case #56818879), which is currently under review. I am simply asking that you review my experience, as I do not believe it reflects the level of customer service expected from an authorized INFINITI dealership.
