BUYERS BEWARE when purchasing a GMC from Walt Massey. Recently purchased brand new 2025 GMC Acadia from GMC MARIANNA FL. After only 2 weeks and less then 500 miles the steering knuckle and an arm snapped Recently purchased brand new 2025 GMC Acadia from GMC MARIANNA FL. After only 2 weeks and less then 500 miles the steering knuckle and an arm snapped causing a severe wreck and the vehicle being totaled. Both sheriffs office and state trooper stated faulty equipment in their reports. The GM of Marianna GMC and the salesman who sold the vehicle have only reached out to sell another vehicle, not help with anything. They told me to go through my insurance company , that GMC would not do anything. Still to this day (10 days later) we have no rental car , and no replacement from GMC. Do yourself favor and avoid the headache we are in ; I would definitely DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM WALT MASSEY GMC AND ESPECIALLY MARIANNA GMC. More

We understand how upsetting this experience has been and want to assure you that we’re doing everything in our power to support you. Our General Manager, Michael John Mitchell, has been in contact with you and remains committed to assisting you in any way possible. He offered to walk you through how to open a product claim with GM, as any determination regarding potential manufacturing issues must come directly from the manufacturer. As a precaution, he also recommended filing an insurance claim in case GM does not classify it as a product issue. Additionally, a vehicle has been placed in our loaner fleet, specifically for your use, with the keys set aside and ready for pickup. Your last message to Michael John regarding the loaner vehicle was thank you sounds good. We understand that this situation is frustrating, and although we cannot influence the manufacturer’s determination, we are committed to supporting you. We will continue to do everything possible to facilitate the process.
