After speaking to the salesman about a test drive he asked for my license I said he needs my wife's since its her car he replied with no they need mine. That being said, Good Morning Steven Alamillo I wanted to send my thanks to the salesman that showed me the CR-V. He was fantastic to work with. That being said, your demeanor and general lack of courtesy left a bad taste in my mouth. It is generally not a great idea to demean, and try to bully someone into buying a vehicle. Maybe this tactic has worked on other females in the past. I fully realize what my credit score is, so I really didn't need you to state "Well you do know what your credit score is, right?" I don't have bad credit, I just don't have enough credit because my name is not on my and my husband's mortgage, or the previous car that I paid for in full. You are not doing me a favor by allowing me to buy a vehicle from Garcia Honda, which is exactly how you made it appear. I have worked hard to save for my Honda-CR-V special edition, and was excited to be shopping for my dream car. You made that experience unpleasant. I decided after our meeting that I would shop around and see what other dealerships were willing to offer me. Perfection Honda provided an excellent experience without the condescending remarks and belittling. They were able to provide me a better APR and more for my trade in. I will be receiving my dream from them at the end of this month. I will be sharing my experience with your dealership, and encouraging others to shop elsewhere. More

Garcia Honda - Criminal Practices This is a follow up to the great review I gave them earlier. The minute I drove off the lot, I became invisible. There have been many, many problems s This is a follow up to the great review I gave them earlier. The minute I drove off the lot, I became invisible. There have been many, many problems since I gave them my money, most of them having to do with lack of information from them and lack of communication from them. But the most serious problem is that they lied about how many miles were on the car I bought. They told me it was a new car and that it had 25 miles on it. I questioned the mileage because I was told my vehicle came from a dealer down south. But they said it had traveled to ABQ on a transport. But after driving my car a few days, and trying to figure out how everything worked, I finally found the odometer and it was over 250 miles. Now there is a problem. I signed a paper saying it had 25 miles on it and thought it was a brand new car. When I went back and told them they needed to amend the paperwork to make it accurate, an hour went by while I was told over and over nothing could be done about it. I insisted and finally was told they would revise the paperwork and fix the error; a new title would be issued. After some time, I was given two papers to sign. Neither one had my vin on them, so I wrote it on both papers. Then I read the papers. They both pointed out to me that this was a used vehicle, either used as a demonstrator or was sold then returned to the dealer for some reason. NEWS TO ME. Along with this news, the papers clearly stated that the warranty starts at zero miles, so my warranty, for me, was 250 short of the 36,000 miles. Is that fair? They sell me a used car, without telling me, then I get cheated out of 250 warranty miles. This didn’t bother Garcia Honda in the least, but I have a big problem with them lying ( by omission and commission) and falsifying legal documents. I refused to sign the two papers saying I knew these things when I bought the car. That’s when I was told I could not prove that I had not driven the 250 miles. And that I was the only one in the world who had this problem. Another desperate attack on the victim to intimidate them. Isn’t that always the tactic one uses when they are caught red-handed? Blame others. There is paperwork at that dealership showing the correct odometer reading when I bought the car, and they could turn on a computer and read it if they chose. But that would mean admitting they made a mistake and that they cheated me, hoping I wouldn’t notice. I am not sure how I am going to handle this. Right now it seems the only answer is through the legal system. But I do feel obligated to warn others about the shady and illegal behavior on the part of Garcia Honda. Employees I dealt with: Michael McKinnon, Alyce, Salvador, and Cory ( who offered to buy me lunch because they failed to mention it would take 2 hours plus to put the roof rack on my car). BUYER BEWARE! More

Didn't know buying a car could be fun! Michael was very personable and extremely helpful from the start. And his sense of humor was the icing on the cake. Michael was zoned in our needs Michael was very personable and extremely helpful from the start. And his sense of humor was the icing on the cake. Michael was zoned in our needs rather than what the dealership needed to sell. And he found us the vehicle that suited our needs to a tee. He joked that dealing with us was so much fun we should do it again the next day. And we would if we could afford it! We also loved working with Michael Legere and with Alyce Tenorio in Finance. We will talk about Michael Legere on his page. It was a great experience working with good people who were very attentive to our needs. More

NOTHING SHORT OF INSULTING Had been emailing Michael McKinnon about selling my deceased brothers CRV back to the dealership since he bought it there last year, paid cash. Though Had been emailing Michael McKinnon about selling my deceased brothers CRV back to the dealership since he bought it there last year, paid cash. Thought with the clear title and purchase from this dealer, the transaction could be fast and fair. Entering with title, death certificate, and legal papers in hand, Micheal handed my wife and I off immediately to another associate who didn't even know the situation. The vehicle was never inspected, or driven and only a brief form filled out and we were told that the 2018 CRV EX was worth $20,000, $2,000 less than a CarMax offer. I needed a written offer for the estate attorney and was told, that person is on a trip and not available till next week. Would never recommend or purchase from a Garcia store. More

Manny in detailing was very nice and a hard worker. David in service/repair was polite and acknowledge the issues. Service was fair to poor and left my truck with spots everywhere on the inside and outside from the protective coating I purchased. Communication to get a problem addressed was terrible at the time. Steven, sales manager, worked hard to accommodate the customer and address the issue, and feel he was doing his best. I'm still hoping for a happier ending. I still love my CR-V and have named her speckles. Update: I worked with the GM Mike McKinnon who was able to do research and did solve the issue. Garcia Honda cared enough to keep working toward a solution. I appreciate the additional effort, the resolution, and the care from the team. My truck's speckles are gone, but she will keep the name for fun. I love my CRV. Thanks Garcia Honda, and Mike, for your continued customer service and efforts. More

Wonderful car buying experience! We went to test drive a Honda CRV and then buy from Costco and have it delivered, as we had such a horrible experience trying to buy at another dealer We went to test drive a Honda CRV and then buy from Costco and have it delivered, as we had such a horrible experience trying to buy at another dealership last week. The salesperson Aaron, the manager Mike, and the finance guys Mike were all so kind, helpful, not pushy that we ended up purchasing a new car today. They made us an offer we couldn’t refuse. Our experience buying cars has always been literally traumatic, but this was wonderful. Loved the dealership and the people we dealt with. Would go back and would highly recommend this dealership! We had questions about the engine and the head mechanic explained everything really well. More

I do wish I would’ve considered getting the EXL FWD as an option instead of the EX AWD, which are close in price. The EX doesn’t have some of the features I was used to in my previous car like the garage door opener, but I do love the car! Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase and I’m excited to own a Honda!
