I am known as “ Mikey Mercedes” and that is due to my passion for Mercedes and the love of what I do! Getting to meet so many incredible people is what excites me the most about my profession. Most of our clients are now some of my best friends. My goal is to give our client an experience that is free of headaches, free of stories, and most importantly free of the salesman “fluff” After more than 2000 sales, I am proud to say that most of my business is now repeat and referral. This is true only because I do not just deliver the “finest engineered car in the world“ I deliver a relationship that is prepared to handle all of their automotive needs at any time. I am dedicated and committed to my pursuit of accommodating and creating an experience “ like no other” for all. I have a bachelor’s degree in business from Hofstra University and started my career here at Helms Bros. 18 years ago , cleaning cars. Now, I have been the “Salesman of the Year” for the last continuous 13 years.

"The best or nothing" holds true for Mercedes-Benz AND Helms Helms Bros. in Bayside has become a home away from home. Since my last review, I have purchased and leased three vehicles. A GLK 350 for my father, a Helms Bros. in Bayside has become a home away from home. Since my last review, I have purchased and leased three vehicles. A GLK 350 for my father, a E350 for myself were purchased and a GLK350 was just leased for my wife. So I believe that this brings my total number of vehicles rolled out of their doors at 5 or 6, so you can believe me when I say that I am a repeat customer! The vehicles are just that, vehicles... safe, dependable and above all, Mercedes-Benz! You know your family is safe on the road when all the distracted drivers out there are lurking, or when you are driving alone, tempting the speed limit on a clean stretch of freshly paved highway asphalt! Now, the dealership... the dealership is what counts when you make a purchase AND when you service your vehicle. I can whole heartedly say, without a doubt, that if it were not for the people that are there for me, I would not be taking the time to write this review. You hear it again and again; They treat you like family... blah, blah, blah... but I'm telling you.. they treat you like family!! From the minute you walk in, to the minute you drive off, to the minute you service your vehicle(s), to the minute you do it all over again! I have never, in my life, been treated so well. If you are in the market for a vehicle, do yourself a favor and go to Helms! I did it years ago and haven't given it a second thought since! Mikey Mercedes has made every single transaction (10 and counting) seamless and enjoyable. You will NEVER be able to find another salesman like him. People Make the difference I recently purchased my second ML 350 Blue TEC from Helms Bros. Unlike my previous purchase this one had a couple of delivery issues. I have to say in hind sight I am glade that this happened for it gave me a chance to see just how well this team managed by Jennifer Lang came together correcting these issues way beyond my expectations. Michael Nekava is one of the most knowledgeable no BS sales associates I have had the pleasure of working with. Michael as in my first purchase made the process a pleasure keeping me informed throughout from date of building to date of delivery. When issues arise it is the truly exceptional companies the stand out. I highly recommend Helms Bros and Michael Nekava. More
