Service manager was very courteous and professional. Was told there is a Guaranteed warranty on transmission fluid change cost towards torque converter if needed within 12 months. Although GM and service advisor worked tirelessly to get my warranty work approved, the service department failed to either secure approval for a critical part of my authorized repair and also failed to men my warranty work approved, the service department failed to either secure approval for a critical part of my authorized repair and also failed to mention anything to me. Thus denying me the choice, option or ability to have the issue addressed with the warranty company or pay out of pocket. Now several thousand dollars have been authorized absent a critical component to fully addressing the repair and what the failure of the parts has caused. Now, I will have to bring my vehicle back to have another diagnostic performed and the findings submitted for review. Most assuredly the "new" old... claim will be denied. Since being told our vehicle was ready on Friday, I made travel plans for Satirday. When I went to pick it up, there were still repairs that needed to be completed. After, going to pick up the vehicle, my service advisor disappeared only to be seen driving another vehicle...telling me "the technician or mechanic STILL had it in his bay. After about 10-15 min or so, my vehicle was driven up by the service person. After already receiving inaccurate information, and abruptly changing my plans, no follow up from service adviser. Completely disappointed. More
