Mr. Kincaide, thank you for the opportunity to help resolve your issues. We pushed CNA Warranty to cover a portion of this repair, initially the total repair was denied. After getting them to cover $2614.40 between the repair and rental, Sunset Ford covered the remaining balance of $696.94. Your purchase of a used 2017 Explorer w/ 73K miles came with window tint from the prior owner. Aftermarket equipment/accessories like this are not covered under any repair whether that's Ford or CNA. Meaning if the windows must be replaced then re-installation of aftermarket window tint is the responsibility of the owner. I also recall prior conversations about removing the window tint and there were no concerns, at that time. Your comments are disappointing. Sunset Ford has been supporting the local community and charities for 109 years. We do not prey on customers & you are not a victim. Between CNA & Sunset Ford we covered $3311.34 to get your window issue resolved. We wish you all the best, thank you. Pete Heutel

CNA did deny the claim in its entirety, but we pushed back and finally got a large portion of it covered. That took time plus we had delays in parts, which is pretty much standard nowadays with worker shortages and parts/shipping constraints. So im back once again for the 2nd go round of service to my truck. I will cut thru the chase. Sunset ford drop the ball at the finish line. They did work and did not fulfill the work all the way to the end. Now im very mad and disappointed at the out come. They had a opportunity to cross the finish line but didnt and sunset ford could had won. Its so sad today that dealers do this as they continue to prey on customers. We are victims to deals when it comes to buying today. Take the money get rich and take what you got. Poor service poor customer service and poor quality of the vehicles. This is the time we are in.

Hello. Mr. Heutel. Hope you are having a great day. I am very thankful for the work that you have done. However after going back and forth. It took 6 months for you to fix something that i brought to your attention when i purchased the vehicle and was told that you was not going to fix it even tho it was covered by the warranty you out right told me over and over no you was not going to fix it. Consider what the warranty said. Now i truly don't remember us having a conversation about not having to not put back the tent. But in the conversation i remember was to put the old windows back with the tent . Now you want to charger me $100 dollars after the fact to replace the tent. When for that cost of $100 you covered the hold thing and be done with it and cross the Finish Line. So in my eye you didn't compleat the whole job. For that amount compare what you bring in on purchases of new and used and repairs. Then that's what troubles the heck out of me. You could have made a great show after all the trouble and everything to have just replaced the to sheets of film and everybody would be happy. But at the end of all the effort that you and me went thru leaves a sour feeling in me about you company. Everything that it took to get this far goes to show how much some dealers care really about the buyers that comes to them and spends money at there company. Have a great day Mr. Pete Heutel.
