As you can see from my overall rating, I had an outstanding experience purchasing a new Toyota 4Runner and rated them at 5 stars. From the initial contact via text messaging to the final handshake, Alan Makabi was nothing less than genuine, honest, and professional. As he continued to determine our needs and desires- he found the absolute perfect vehicle for us! With his 12 years experience at this dealership alone, Alan proved to be more knowledgeable than what we had experienced at other car dealerships. His demeanor is quite relaxed and we felt no pressure from him throughout the entire process, After doing our homework and shopping around we knew the deal that we absolutely needed to make the sale happen. I never had to take Alan to mat to get the deal I needed, I simply can't ask for anymore than that. Alan not only took the time to make sure we understood all the electronics and other options the vehicle was equipped with before we left, but sincerely invited us back at any time for a review. I would also like to give a shout out to Mike who worked effortlessly to ensure we were able to get the best deal possible. This is the second vehicle purchased from Alan and Cedar Rapids Toyota, I can honestly say that it likely won't be the last. We worked with Alan Makabi who reached out to us right away and then went on and beyond to ensure we get the best deal and the best price and even more with the purchase. No pressure, very personal and very easy to talk to. Offered coffee, fireplace, snacks and gave us time to make the decision. We enjoyed every minute of it. We knew we could trust Alan right away. We came in for a test drive and within less then an hour we were ready to write a check. Big difference when compared to prior experience dealing with McGrath sales people. This dealership crew is super easy to work with and we could test drive anything we wanted to without any hesitation and wait. Sales Manager Mike at Toyota was more then willing to work with us on the price and agreed to give us even little more with this purchase just to make us happy and stay with them. We could not resist. We are very thankful for a wonderful service and wonderful deal and would recommend this place to anyone. Thank you again, Alan Makabi and Mike! We told them what we wanted for a trade on our 2014 and the additional items we wanted to add to the car and it was no problem. In fact, it was so easy, we drove our new car home that same day. We tried to work a deal with another Toyota dealer south of C.R. but they were not willing to give us what we wanted for a trade.Mike Leuenburger was instrumental in helping us get the best deal here. C.R. Toyota's new building is very clean and up to date and it was comfortable waiting to get all the paperwork done. And.... they have popcorn too. We are second time buyers from this dealer and are very happy we traded with them again. Oh yes, I forgot to mention that since we are second time buyers, we have had a relationship with this service dept. and they are the easiest to provide service without a lot of wait time and their mechanics do a great job with service. More
