Pleasure doing business with Chicago Motor Cars I bought a 1966 Corvette online from Chicago Motor Cars. The salesman was Mike Salerno. Just bought a car from the West Chicago location from an out of state location. Got a good price for my trade. Worked with Mike S. He was very responsive and easy to work with. Not pushy at all. Finally a great experience buying a car I live in Texas but found my dream car at Chicago Motor Cars and let them know I was interested. Mike Salerno emailed me back quickly but with no high I live in Texas but found my dream car at Chicago Motor Cars and let them know I was interested. Mike Salerno emailed me back quickly but with no high pressure hype. Told them I had another car to sell first so wasn’t sure of my timeline. Still no pressure from them. I then heard from Steve Ruiz who was willing to deal and even make an offer on my car based on pictures I sent. We made a tentative deal over the phone but I wanted to see and drive the car. I Flew to Chicago and Steve picked me up at Ohare airport and I got to check out the car. Perfect! As advertised. Even though it had passed their inspection I wanted to take it to a third party for a PPI (on my dime) which Steve agreed to without hesitation. I left it in their hands as I had to fly home after a courtesy ride to the airport. Steve had also arranged transport for my vehicle at a very reasonable price. After hearing from the third party that the car had no issues and seeing my car loaded on a truck, Mike handled all the paperwork online and I went back a week later to pick up the car. Steve again picked my up at Ohare. Three round trips to the airport...that is great customer service. I left the showroom that day with a smile on my face that lasted all the way to Texas. More

The whole staff over at Chicago motorcars is well experienced and knowledgeable. Worst dealer experience ever To make it quick: Do not do business with Chicago Motor Cars I found their 2010 Manual Twin Turbo R8 V10 on their website. I called and was sent s To make it quick: Do not do business with Chicago Motor Cars I found their 2010 Manual Twin Turbo R8 V10 on their website. I called and was sent some pics and it looked great. I was told it had a few rock chips and 1 scratch on drivers side door. I was also informed it just got an oil change and had newer tires. I said that is no problem for me and the tires and oil is awesome news. They said it needs a new oil line and itll be ready tomorrow. I said awesome, I will take it. It arrives at my house with: A check engine light, MANY scratches and scrapes, deep cuts in headlight, chips everywhere, Backup camera doesn't work and the clear coat on side blade coming off (just to name a few things This is where it gets bad. At first they said: we will pay for mechanical up to 2500, it was AT LEAST that and 500 towards paint (including labor) the estimate was about 7500 for both. We wait for a new tune to come in to hopefully fix CEL and we go in to swap plugs and coils (they were fried). By the time we got tune was a little bit longer of a wait and did it all. Figured we should check oil and such out. The oil was as black as night, the tires were worn terribly on the inside on the back, and the plastic parts that cover the underside of car were non existent. I reached out to dealer and said I am not rebuilding all of this at my cost and they can take it back. They made me pay to fix part of the car that gets sent back to them. They call back and say hey, we will give you your money back no problem we don't want bad blood. I said deal. The next day I get a call: Hey, we won't just give you your money back you must buy a car from us to trade it in. So I had to pick a car from their current inventory. I picked one and they said no, they weren't writing me a check back that large. So I picked another and they wouldn't budge on the price (taking a mere 2k off a car that wholesale is 10-12 less than asking). Then they tried to get me to pay for ALL transport costs, finally got them to split it with me. When they got the R8 back they admitted "There is DEFINITELY something wrong with this car" and still wouldn't work with me. In a nutshell. This dealership is sketchy as you know what. This is not a place I recommend doing business with if you want to feel safe and trust that you are getting a solid car. They are already trying to sell the car again on their site with no clue how to fix the issues. Thanks for being aware. More

Great service, great price Found an awesome deal on a barely used Tesla. Paperwork was effortless thanks to Evan, our sales guy. I flew in from Pittsburgh. The shop owner spent some time giving me a tutorial on the car and programed my trip back including Supercharger stops. The whole experience was pleasant, transparent and the price was significantly better than elsewhere. More
