Needing repairs after striking a road hazard we found O’Meara Ford. After talking to service advisor Mike he told us that they (service dept) would work us in for repairs to get us on the road again. We O’Meara Ford. After talking to service advisor Mike he told us that they (service dept) would work us in for repairs to get us on the road again. We were directed to their beautiful lounge to wait and offered free soft drinks. We were kept informed of what was taking place with our repairs. After a 2 1/2 hour break we were back on the road. I love servicing my truck at Omeara Ford and have used them exclusively since 2009. I trust the people there especially Mike in the service department. We some times have trouble with the phone being answered for service, but when they do nothing but excellent service. Same day service on a battery replacement, arranged shuttle back home and offered a shu for service, but when they do nothing but excellent service. When I arrived the person checking me in was not friendly. He also did not listen carefully and put my number in the system wrong so they had to email me when my car was ready. I made a 2 week out appointment for them to take a full week to evaluate that my battery was bad, and then try to over charge me for fixing the backup camera. I scheduled service for my truck a week prior for the following Monday.Once I dropped it off Monday morning, I was told to give it until end of day monday or early Tuesday to get an update. At that time, following Monday.Once I dropped it off Monday morning, I was told to give it until end of day monday or early Tuesday to get an update. At that time, I instructed the service rep to contact my husband and provided his number for follow up. He instead contacted me to give diagnosis, cost, and ask if I wanted to proceed. It took over 15 hours of diagnosis to tell me the throttle (on the top part of the engine), which happen to not be covered by my service contract, and tune up is needed for over $600(parts and labor). The pricing and duration of time it took to diagnose was unacceptable, being that i scheduled service for a specific date. Seems I was quoted a high amount and they took an unexpected amount of time to diagnosis the issue and dont really care about taking your time or money. I won't be going back. More
