After narrowing our search to the Toyota Highlander and Kia Santa Fe, we concluded the best value based on hybrid experience, quality, and price was the Toyota Highlander. We have been pleasantly surprised with consistent 35 to 43 mpg and have been impressed with the high technology safety and convenience features included in this car. The only downside is the artificial noise that comes on when operating at low speed in electric mode. More
