I am very happy with Ed Martin Toyota. Nice to work with an ethical dealer who has been upfront and transparent with all aspects of my purchase of a 2023 Toyota 4Runner. Charged MSRP even Nice to work with an ethical dealer who has been upfront and transparent with all aspects of my purchase of a 2023 Toyota 4Runner. Charged MSRP even though the 4Runner is out of stock everywhere with many dealers adding fluff or charging over MSRP. None of that at Ed Martin. The salesperson Mohamed kept me informed of my purchase and its status. No pressure, just good follow up when I needed it. He was very patient with all of my questions. Overall, a great dealership. I can highly recommend working with Ed Martin Toyota. More

When my lease came due recently, I arranged with my salesman and bank to buyout my lease. I received my payoff from Xavier, via my salesman, in writing. After being assured that the closing process wou salesman and bank to buyout my lease. I received my payoff from Xavier, via my salesman, in writing. After being assured that the closing process would be quick and easy, I drove over an hour down with my wife (who hates car dealerships) to sign papers and drop off the payoff check from my bank. Xavier had us waiting for over an hour while he "got the paperwork ready". When he finally came to get us from the waiting area, he said, "They check amount is wrong." Confused, I said, "That is the amount you guys gave me in writing for payoff plus tax." He said, "Well, the check is normally blank and we fill it in at closing." I explained my bank would not issue a "blank" check, which is why I requested my total in advamce. He then proceeded to say that the "doc fee" was not included in the original total I was given in writing. I countered that the only time they ever mentioned a "doc fee" was if I planned to turn in my lease, but told me if I bought out my lease, then it would just be the residual plus sales tax. Xavier claimed this was false and stated everyone has to pay the "doc fee", "even employees", on every transaction, and if he didn't charge me, there "would be lawsuits" from all the people he previously did. When I tried to protest this bait and switch, Xavier proceeded to tell me that unless I paid the $250 doc fee out of pocket, we would not be closing today and I drove down and waited around for nothing. Reluctantly, I paid his fee. However, I explained to him that I had purchased 6 vehicles from Ed Martin in the last 3 years, with plans for another one later this year, but I would not be back after this. Additionally, I was later told by another salesman at a different dealer in the same auto group this his doc fee was a BS charge. That salesman told me that I should not have been charged a doc fee on a lease buyout of my own truck, especially since the purchase was from Ally and not Ed Martin. The salesmen confirmed that his dealership would not have done so. Regardless, Ed Martin has lost my business. More

Darnell was a joy to work with when buying my RAV4. I appreciated how he helped me get what I came in to the dealership for and I left highly satisfied with the whole car buying experience. Financing w I appreciated how he helped me get what I came in to the dealership for and I left highly satisfied with the whole car buying experience. Financing was also great. I have never had a car buying experience that I left not feel exhausted and stressed from until now. Thanks so much Ed Martin! I will definitely come back and buy again in the future! More
